If you’ve been following along on Celeb Look and have a list of fantastic fashion pieces that you want to add to your wardrobe, here are a few style tips for when you hit the stores in the wee hours:

1. Wear comfortable shoes. No matter how much you may admire Rihanna’s killer boots or Victoria Beckham’s high heels, this is not the time to have fancy feet. You’re going to need to move fast and when you’re done rushing around, you’ll have to stand in long lines at the register, not to mention waiting outside in the cold! Wear running shoes or some other flat shoe – whatever you have that’s most comfortable. Bonus points if they’re warm too.
2. Layer up. You’ll probably be lined up outside in questionable weather, but when you get inside you may overheat if you’re too bulked up in thick sweaters. Wear things that will keep you warm outside, but plan ahead by choosing pieces that you can remove and tie around your waist while waiting to pay for your prized purchases.
3. Choose a purse that you can wear across your body. This isn’t a day you’ll want to carry a little purse in your hand, and with the crowds it’s wise to even avoid a purse that dangles from your shoulder. A bag that straps across your body will be a less likely target for a thief looking to grab and run.
4. Traditional accessories aren’t important when you’re shopping in the dark with crowds of bargain hunters. Instead make your accessories practical – a bottle of water, maybe a small snack, and a phone will be helpful. And keep them in your across-the-body handbag!

5. Claire Danes – Claire is often under the radar. You don’t hear too much about her when she’s not currently promoting a film, living quietly. But when you see her, it’s hard to miss her. She never stands out by wearing something overly daring or extravagant; she stands out by wearing something that is simply beautiful with clean lines that looks gorgeous on her.

4. Anne Hathaway – I love seeing pictures of Anne when she’s out on the red carpet or attending some sort of special event. Her clothing style is always a combination of classic and something new. You sort of get the feeling that if you look back at her 20 years from now, you’ll still think she looked amazing.

3. Vanessa Hudgens – Vanessa is very young still, but she’s got a great start when it comes to being a classic Hollywood beauty. Between her long dark waves and the gowns she chooses, she always looks picture perfect. She may have made some mistakes in life (those naked photos will haunt her forever, I fear), but she more than makes up for it on the red carpet and in the end people will remember her more for what she did wear than what she didn’t.

2. Katie Holmes – Here’s the interesting thing about Katie: I don’t always like what she wears. Honestly, I sometimes think she wears very strange things (though I love that dress in the picture above!). But when it comes to Katie, it still works as far as style is concerned because she wears the things that she likes, doesn’t attempt to wear something just for the shock value, and does her own thing. In that sense she almost reminds me of Diane Keaton who would show up wearing suits when everyone else was in a gown. She marches to her own style drum!

1. Angelina Jolie – I may be biased but to me Angelina is the epitome of old school Hollywood beauty. She has the long hair, the bewitching smile, the bedroom eyes, and every dress she wears ends up being spectacular on her. Even my least favorite of her dresses have still looked incredible on her in the end. She could wear a paper bag and still look stunning. That’s because she wears the clothes – the clothes never, EVER wear her. Really though, you don’t need to look exactly like Angelina to look as good as she does. The reason she always looks so perfect in front of the cameras is because of the self-confidence she has, and that’s the staple of every iconic Hollywood bombshell in the history of Tinseltown.

Anna Sui, known for her cool, hip youth-centric clothes – took the posh fashions of Blair, Serena, Jenny and Vanessa as the inspiration for a new line at the discount retailer.

“When I was in Asia last year, all the young girls kept asking me about the different locations in New York City where the characters from ‘Gossip Girl’ live,” Anna told Women’s Wear Daily on Wednesday.

“I have always been a fan of designer partnerships with mass retailers. I think it is a great way to bring fashion to everyone,” Anna said. “It is an exciting challenge to try and interpret my aesthetic into a mass-produced product with a specific international source as the focus.”

Gossip Girl starlet Jessica Szohr is already a fan of the designer! “I’m a big fan of Anna Sui and I became a fan of hers through working on the show,” she explained. “Every time I’d be in a fitting and try something on, they would tell me [it was] her. I like her.”

The line will to hit 250 select Target Stores across the U.S. on September 13 and run through October 17.

1. A Little Black Dress
   Yes, I know it tops everyone’s list, but face it – if you’re dressing like a celeb you have to have an outfit to wear on all the red carpets, right? Your best bet for multiple wardrobe options is to get a plain dress without much detail. That way you can add a jacket and boots, or strappy heels and tons of jewelry. There are endless options!

2. A Pair of Dark Jeans
   I prefer boot cut, but you can go with skinny jeans if you like the look. Get a well-fitting pair and you’ll be able to coordinate it with just about anything – whether you’re headed for an evening out with the girls or walking Rodeo drive to finish your shopping.
3. A Pair of Big Sunglasses
   Okay, not really. You just need a pair of sunglasses that flatter your face. But if you’re really going celebrity-inspired you need to get yourself some dark round sunglasses to wear whenever you leave the house. The paparazzi might be watching!
4. A White Shirt
   Buy a clean, crisp, fitted button-down white shirt and you’ll find yourself wearing it just about anywher. You can unbutton it and throw it over a colorful camisole, or button and tuck it into a highwaisted skirt.

5. Colorful Tote
   You have to have something to carry all those accessories around in, right? Opt for something fun and funky to work with all of your staple outfits.

6. Dark Tights
   Dark tights always flatter your legs, so pick up a pair or two! Wear them with a dress or short skirt to keep your legs warm and looking quite slim.

7. Strappy Heeled Sandals
   We’re talking celebrities here, so go with height when you get your heels! I suggest a black or silver heel so that they can go with your dark jeans and LBD above.

8. Bright, Solid Jacket
   For those chilly nights when you’re not sure what to wear, pull your basic t-shirts and jeans together with a bright solid jacket or blazer. Get one that is tailored in a fun color like orange, lime, or red!

9. Diamond Studs
   
   Whether they’re real or fake, make sure they’re big enough to get noticed. Even if you wear no other jewelry, your ears will show off your style! [If your ears aren't pierced, I suggest a simple diamond slide pendant around your neck]

10. Your Signature Piece
    It’s time to pick out your signature piece. Is it a bright colored crystal hairpin? A pair of lime loafers that you wear with just about everything? A colorful scarf? Many celebs become known for their one piece. What will yours be?
