I have found that the Benefit Boi-ing concealer is fantastic, also! I use it not only under my eyes, but also on my lids as a shadow base, and on dark spots. Don't put it on too thick, though, otherwise it can look cakey. It really stays on forever and covers so well!

Pavlina - you know there are lots of products out there that can give you the benefits of moisturizer but have anti oil effects as well. Shop around a little for products for oily skin, you might be surprised at how well they work. ;)

I skip moisturizer. I know I shouldn't but it just make my foundation slide right off my face. Also, I may be guilty of the Kabuki mask...eek!

Hi Cheryl--
I too have really dark undereye circles and without concealer I look dead.

I have found Benefit's Boing concealer to be the best and to last the longest. 2nd I would say the Mally concealer..

Also, I really need to have curled eyelashes to make my eyelashes look awake. The best eyelash curler I have found By Far is Hot Lashes. A makeup artist turned me on this, awesome, the best.

So with a great concealer and beautifully curled eyelashes, I look really good. And go figure, but my boyfriend always notices when I curl my eyelashes. (My eyelashes actually grow down.)

Hope this helps.

Sam:

I have found that Avon's Truly Flawless Concealer Duo works great for redness on the face, I have a mild form of roscacia across my nose and cheeks. A friend of mine uses it for her roscacia and recommended it to me. It is a cream concealer in a pot and split down the middle one side is green the other flesh tone. I use the medium shade and it does work to a point. It does not get rid of it altogether but enough to hide most of it. Only time I cannot use it is this time of yr with the terrible heat. It just slides off my face with sweating so I use it in the fall, winter and spring. I must admit it is the best thing I have found so far for that problem and it does take some time to put it on but I feel it is worth it and I am not one to "toot" many products. Give it a try. You put the green concealer on first just patting on the red areas then the flesh tone concealer goes over the green, als patting it gently over the skin. Give it a try.

I never seem to be able to get my concealer right. NEVER so I gave up aswell. I started out with the skin then I heard green was good for redness... so I tried the green then thought of something... I would rather be all red then look like a Christmas tree. So that was givin' up on. *Sight* Foundation is a whole new story, and we're not even going to get into that bit.

Actually, if you have oily skin, you *don't* have to use a moisturizer ... it just adds to the problem. Everyone needs to use sunscreen, though.

I agree about the concealer...I have just given up. I have tried them all from the least expensive to the high end and there is nothing out there that covers under eye circles period!
