Bare Escentuals Hydrating Mineral Veil

Never more than a few days will go by without me waxing poetic about Bare Escentuals.

Sephora
Today, I’m all about Hydrating Mineral Veil, which is no surprise since there’s never been a Mineral Veil I didn’t love.
I think just about all of you reading this are beauty-savvy enough to know what this product is, but essentially, it is water based and 100% pure minerals (bareMinerals coveted formula) and somehow hydrates my skin, evens it out, finishes it, and makes it glow. I don’t know how it does all that, but I swear, as God as my witness, it DOES.
To use, I just buff it over makeup (or bare skin!) with my brush and it lasts for HOURS. Totally my favorite thing. And actually the reason I just created an eBeautyDaily favorite things category. Truth!
A Wink and a Kiss

I love minis.

Sephora
However, I do not mean of the skirt variety – I am pushing my third decade after all – but I love mini sizes of my fave cosmetics.
My latest find is Bare Escentuals A Wink & A Kiss Buxom Lip & Lash Duo–in it, you’ll find their fabulous lip polish as well as a mini mascara, both of the Buxom variety.
I’m a huge fan of the Buxom Lip Polish immediately – it’s super shiny, but it also is loaded with antioxidants. So it’s sort of like taking our vitamins! The lash booster is very much the same concept – it adds volume and length, but it’s also super vitamin-enriched, something your lashes will very much appreciate!
bareMinerals Happiness Collection

I love, love, love Bare Escentuals, and each time there’s a new product from them, I’m all over it.

Sephora
The latest collection that I am playing around with is their bareMinerals Happiness Collection, a nine-piece set that features a set of products that are infused with something called Happybelle–a complex that (get this!!!), contains a plant extract believed to mimic the effect of endorphins and create a sense of happiness.
Take a second to ponder how amazing that is. Pretty and happy. What else could I possibly want?
I know, I know, it sounds ever-so-slightly flower child like, but it’s actually natural-it IS from Bare Escentuals after all.
Included in the set you will find:
- bareMinerals Glee Radiance All-Over Face Color infused with Happybelle
- bareMinerals Euphoria Eyecolor infused with Happybelle
- bareMinerals Happiness Eyecolor infused with Happybelle
- bareMinerals Hallucinate Liner Shadow infused with Happybelle
- bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara in Black
- bareMinerals 100% Natural Lipgloss in Berry Rush
- bareMinerals Feather Light Brush in Limited-Edition Hot Pink
- bareMinerals Double-Ended Complete Tapered Shadow Brush in Limited-Edition Hot Pink
- Happy Clutch
Tell me how it works out for you!
Huge Sephora Sale

Ladies, ladies, ladies, happy Labor Day weekend!
If you are all partied out, and ready for some serious shopping, Sephora is my favorite place to start. If I wasn’t excited enough about free shipping, free samples, and free returns, tons of stuff at up to 75 off was enough to get my blood all a-boil.

Sephora
Some fun choices: The Juicy Loves Sephora Bowler lip gloss charm (original price was $58, now it’s $29)! And you know that fabulous LORAC Summer of Style Makeup Collection? It’s normally $100….but is now $32!
Also, if you buy the Michael Kors 1.7 or 3.4 oz EDP Spray you will get a FREE Michael Kors Weekender Bag with code WEEKENDER. Also awesome: A Bare Escentuals BUXOM Lash sample with any order with code BUXOM.
That’s not nearly the end of it. In fact, seeking out all the bargains is the most fun part!
Try Bare Escentuals Radiance Rocks for $29!

One of my favorite brands is Bare Escentuals, and one of my favorite stores is Sephora.

Sephora
It’s rare to see a coupon from either, but right now you can score the new BE Radiance Rocks – which is ONLY available at Sephora – for $29 (usually $35).
To take advantage, use coupon code BEROCKS at checkout.
Radiance Rocks is sort of adorable. It’s three rocks that are compressed together solely by water. To use them, you swirl the Kabuki Brush on top of rocks, and buff the shades on your eyes, cheeks, and body, or wherever you wish! It’s a fabulous multi-tasker, and cute, too.
Bare Escentuals Hydrating Mineral Veil

If you’ve read eBeautyDaily, like, ever, you are probably already well aware that I am a fan of Bare Escentuals.

Actually, to call me a fan would be like to say that Elvis sort of liked peanut butter. I am obsessed – and the new water-based Hydrating Mineral Veil has not faltered my love at all.
This new take on mineral veil is great for thirsty skin and has a cooling effect, it also helps brighten skin – but in a non-obvious not-shimmery sort of way, which helps to create a smooth finishing touch.
My advice: Best way to use this is to buff it over makeup or bare skin with a great kabuki brush!
Lashed Up in Mascara

Everyone I know is always in search of the next-best mascara. And whether they are looking for volume or length or curl, no one is ever 100% happy – and thus the search continues.
How cool would it be to have your entire search in one kit?
Now you sort of can! Sephora is doing a series of “best of” sort of kits, and Lashstash is their mascara array.
There’s a little bit of everything in this set, from a lash base to a rice-bran-enriched mascara! My trick: Don’t try just one, mix and match until you find the combo that makes you look your most lust-worthy.
In this set is:
- 0.1 oz Anastasia Lash Lifting Mascara
- 0.1 oz Tarte Lights Camera Lashes
- 0.1 oz Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara
- 0.24 oz Stila Multi Effect Mascara
- 0.14 oz Benefit Bad Gal Mini
- 0.2 oz Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash
- 0.13 oz Too Faced Mini Lash Injection Pin Point
- 0.12 oz Smashbox Bionic
- 0.07 oz Lancome Cils Booster
- 0.085 oz DuWop Lash Venom
- 0.14 oz Korres Provitamin B5 and Rice Bran Mascara

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Refill Brush

If you travel as much as I do, you need cosmetics (and accessories) that are travel-friendly.
A great new option for me is the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals refillable brush.
It’s refillable with any bareMinerals mineral product, and super-great on-the-go.
My big fear before using it was that it would be like those blush-in-a-brush powders I’ve tried in the past, and leak all over everything.
It was totally not the case though! It worked great: Just turn to raise the tapered brush. Or make a second turn lets you control the product flow for an even application; it really does have super control.
I heart Bare Minerals, and this just made me love them more!

Mineral Makeup Newbie?

When it comes to Bare Escentuals, I am no newbie – in fact, I give it pretty much deity status.
I know a lot of you are still new to it, and mineral makeup in general, though.
For you, I recommend you go out immediately and get yourself bareMinerals Newbie Complexion Kit
This kit includes:
- 2 x 0.03 oz shades of bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation
- 0.02 oz bareMinerals Mineral Veil
- 0.01 oz bareMinerals Warmth All-Over Face Color
- Mini Flawless Application Face Brush
Why do you need this?
It’s quite simply a great starter kit, and comes with two shades of foundation, so you can find your perfect match. Why do you want mineral makeup? Well, not only does it not clog your pores in the way liquid might, but it’s a lighter, and yet, even coverage – great anytime, but ideal for summer!

Bare Escentuals Bare Pleasures

It would not be an over-reaction to call this the best eye shadow set…I’ve ever received.
Bare Escentuals’ Bare Pleasures is a limited-edition nine-piece eye color collection that can be mixed or layered to create super hot color combos.
Colors inside are: Cashmere Eye Color (medium red clay)- bareMinerals Chardonnay Eye Color (light butter)- bareMinerals Bordeaux Eye Color (deep purple merlot)- bareMinerals Tiara Eye Color (light angel pink)- bareMinerals Snowflake Eye Color (sparkling blizzard)- bareMinerals Nice Rock Eye Color (chocolate diamond)- bareMinerals Rose Pearl Eye Color (medium mauve pink)- bareMinerals Black Emerald Liner Shadow (black emerald)- bareMinerals Sapphire Liner Shadow (metallic untramarine).
Without overeacting (which I’d NEVER do over eye makeup…), this is quite possibly the only eye shadow collection you’ll ever truly NEED.
Note, I reserve the right to say this again in like…a week.
