A Fabulous Shopping Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Are you glad it’s over? Now starts a wonderful week of after Christmas sales - a great time to redeem all your gift certificates!

Nordstrom is where I am starting this morning, while it’s too early to get out of the house (and plus it is raining here this morning in College Station - yucko). They have fantastic sales going on in their men’s, women’s and kids departments, with at least 33% off! There are a ton of beautiful shoes with huge discounts, and I saw a few beautiful outfits that would be perfect for New Years celebrations as well. Sadly there isn’t much going on in the beauty department (there never is! LOL), but I did notice the Anastasia Brows In Bloom Kit at 25% off, so if that is something you have been thinking about picking up, now is a great time for that!

I have been a little sad this morning hearing reports of how sales are way down this month in the retail world. Part of me wants to tell you to get out there and support your local businesses, but that part of me that is looking out the window right now and seeing this gloomy day is so happy we have the ease and unbeatable selection available to us online. It is a wonderful world, eh? If you are getting out today, be careful, you know how crazy sale shoppers can be!
