Ajne Perfumes at Henri Bendel, NYC

I am learning a little more about fragrance all of the time, it is nothing like I really thought it was. I thought you put it on and you liked it or you didn’t, and then you wore the one you liked. Forever. LOL Do they have fragrance classes like they do for wines? I think they should, I would love to take one. Through all of my fragrance freedom this last six months I have learned a bit about what I like, and maybe even enough to actually choose a fragrance from its description. Do you think that can be done? Heck, what do I know.

Ajne is launching a boutique inside of Henri Bendel’s department store on July 6th, and what a magnificent “candy store” of fragrance this appears to be. Candy store is a repulsive description, as this is really more of a Mercedes dealership. About Anje, from their web site:

Custom, or Couture, fragrances start at $500, while the ready-to-wear fragrances are a good bit less. I think after looking thoroughly and lusting after all of these fragrances, that this one would be the one for me:

I know, I know – I am done birthing babies. Darn it (I love babies!). But, I still think this is the one for me. I someday will get to Ajne and see if I was right.
