Phase Four
Cleanse
Foam
Foam for normal skin.
Reveal. Gently clears impurities.
Replenish. Helps keep skin hydrated.
Relax. Lather foam in wet hands, massage over wet skin. Rinse well, then follow with Phase Four Prep and Hydrate.
Reveal. Replenish. Relax. I guess this makes the Aura Science skin care process a bit more easy to remember. The product is made in Japan (so it says on the tube) but is distributed in the US alone. Selected states to boot. I guess this explains why I know so little about the brand.
Aura Science is a new concept in beauty forged ahead by The Limited, Inc. (the folks responsible for fashionable stores such as The Limited, Express, & Victoria’s Secret) and cosmetics giant, Shiseido! (Source: backstagebeauty.net)
Yes, I had to look it up. I honestly had no idea what aura science was and what other products they have under their wing. Yes, they offer stuff like eye creams, hydrating masks, nail enamels and makeup.
According to BackstageBeauty.net, Aura Science Skin Care is broken into four groups: Phase One (Dry) Phase Two (Normal/Dry), Phase Three (Normal/Oily) and Phase Four (Oily). Which I find confusing, actually. Cuz right there on the tube, it said it’s a foam for normal skin. Yes, it’s phase four. I reckon I need to check the other three phases to make sure. Sigh. If only they had a website. If you can help me figure it out, so much better.
I had hoped to ask someone else (preferably someone with oily skin) would give this product a go. However, since it did say twas for normal skin, I reckon I will get around to experimenting, too. I’ll let you guys know.
Right now, Aura Science is only available in malls in Ohio, Virginia, Illinois, New Jersey, and Maryland. Mum brought it home from Ohio.
I also wonder if Aura Science is still around. I read stuff that the brand had a major pullout from the market. I’m not quite certain if the stuff I read are reliable. AND I haven’t found anything that’s not too dated.
I haven’t seen Aura Science since they took it out of my VS store!
When did you see it last? And which VS store exactly? (if you don’t mind me asking, that is)
Oh its probably been at least 2 years. I used to work at a Victoria’s Secret in Salt Lake City, UT, so that one.
Thanks! According to the stuff I read online, Aura Science used to have their own stores then reduced to selling them via VS stores. Now, you’re telling us that Aura Science hasn’t been in the market for the past 2 years (Utah, at least). Hmmm. I wonder if they’ve totally pulled the brand out of the market.
AND I’m also wondering how in the world did my mum manage to find one in Ohio?!
Well I still see AS stuff at Semi-Annual Sales @ VS.
Yeah, I wouldn’t count Utah as being in the forefront of any sort of trend so its possible that they were taken out of my store locally, but were still being sold elsewhere.
That sorta clears it up a bit.
I still see Aura Science on ebay, too. Can’t believe that some of the AS products cost around $25 – $45.

Limited bought the brand and shelved the product. If you find it, you probably wont be able to find it again. It is/was the best products on the market. The type 2 cleansing foam was incredible.
what does buying it and shelving the product mean? (in reference to limited buying it, the comment left by corkChop)
The Aura Science line was canned last year (I believe)…so if you run across any of the products in any VS stores…buy it up and sell it online via Ebay…trust me…I’ve had acne for 20+ years and this is the ONLY product that works for me…I’m starting early trying to find a product that works while I still have some Aura Science left!

I reckon Limited is a company who bought the brand (aura science) who then shelved it, which pertains to phasing it out or discontinuing the production and distribution of the brand.

They used to sell it in Chicago at the Woodfield mall. I used to use it when I lived there 6 years ago. Loved the stuff!
I am a fan of Aura Science I have been using it for over 5 years and I am hook on it. I first found it at Victoria’s Secret stores in San Diego CA but after a couple of years it was discontinued, does anyone know where I might be able to find it? I use the phase four treatment all of it. The light lotion for oily/normal and the eye cream are great!
