Mineral Veil
Mineral Veil provides the ultimate translucent finishing touch to makeup, infusing skin with softness and light for airbrushed perfection. It gently absorbs oil and minimizes the appearance of lines and pores for a fresh, flawless look all day.
bareMinerals created a limited edition Mineral Veil in a flow-through brush in celebration of Sephora’s 10th year anniversary.
Mineral makeup has been one of the cosmetics that had caught my interest. Admittedly, I have this love-hate relationship with it. I love the coverage and finish but sometimes, application can be a real chore.
Another thing that I don’t particularly enjoy is keeping them in sample zip locks even when they can prove to be real handy in terms of portability. Call it vanity but one of the things I like about makeup is the packaging. I’d rather keep the conventional compacts and tubes in the vanity kit I carry in my bag all the time rather than all the small pots and such filled with mineral makeup.
This one from bareMinerals can be a real good solution. One thing that comes close to what this thing can do is the Victoria’s Secret body powder glitter I own. The powder dispenser is cleverly hidden within the brush and all I have to do is push on the other end of the brush to let out the powder while buffing the skin with the brush. Hardly anything’s wasted, which is good, yea?
What do you beauties think? Isn’t it fantastic to have the bareMinerals Mineral Veil in this real portable flow-through brush?
The bareMinerals Mineral Veil on-the-go essential costs $28 over at Sephora.

A definite winner..and hopefully they’ll expand the concept to their other products.
I use a Colorscience Powder sunscreen that employs the same idea and I’ve been much much better about protecting my skin when I’m out.
