Beauty Beat: To Tan…

Or not to tan, that is the question. For me, going pasty is not an option, and sun tanning is not an option either. I don’t do the sun, so this year I am trying the new Glow Fusion spray tanner, it has some great advantages over other spray tanners - it is cordless, rechargeable, and refillable. There are also some great new lotions out to choose from including Dove Beauty’s Energy Glow with subtle self tanners, and the less subtle tans available from lines like Xen-Tan. The more subtle products are easier to apply, but with the more dramatic tanning products, be sure to be freshly bathed, very well exfoliated, and if you have some particular parts that you know always absorb too much tan, put a bit of lotion on them first, and you will have much better results!

hi christine!
self tanners is one subject i know well as i am as fair as they come!! i do tan easily, though several years ago stopped baking in the sun as i became more aware of the damage the sun can cause - mostly aging is what got my attention!!
i have tried almost every product out there & what i discovered with great excited that actually worked; was Tan Towels.
they are individually packaged, kinda look like a big square baby wipe, not sopping wet, and the best natural looking tan i have ever had!!
the product has aloe & lots of goodies, which are nourishing for your skin, as well as an exfoliator & you only use every 24 hours, as a slight tan will appear within a couple of hours & then continues to develop over 12 hours; hence only using every 24 hours.
they come in a box of 10; one can also purchase a deeper, more stronger ingredient box, with 5 per box, but i haven’t found the need for it. the tan lasts about 7 days, no blotchiness, no peeling, no white marks in places & not in others. i am really thrilled to share this with you & hope you are able to try them; you will be amazed!!
you can dress immediately, no staining whatsoever on your hands or those unsightly missed spots or too much colouring on ankles, elbows or the palm of one’s hands. i do wear cheapo rubber gloves just to be sure i don’t have colouring on the palms of my hands. they can be used on the face too, without any breakouts. i have always had to buy a separate product for the face & even then, found i tended to break out a wee bit.
not with tan towels. easy, quick, gorgeous, natural colouring, lasting…brilliant idea, brilliant product!!
the colour develops with one’s own melonoma, so it is impossible to look orange or too dark for one’s own skin colouring.
no stains on whites, especially around the collar, just does not happen with tan towels. i tell ya, they are a dream!! because a slight tan shows within about 1-2 hours, they are great for last minute plans to quickly give oneself a quick wipe down & voila…put on that sexy sleeveless dress, top, short skirt, shorts & away you go; with a healthy glow!!
i would never be without them!! just so you know, i have no affiliation with the company, i wanted to share my “find” with you, as you have given me a wealth of informtion, suggestions, tips & ideas!!
have a great day!!

If you have not yet fried L’Oreal Sublime Glow moisturizer with a hint of self tanner and a hint of shimmer, it’s a MUST use. And new for this season they came out with one for the face. I use it all the time and people tell me 1) my skin looks great and 2) I have good color
It comes in light and medium tone, both for face and body and it saved my life and reputation last summer.
