Onlylady.com, which is part of the CNET Network, had put a watermark on a photo that they have no claims to. That can also mean stealing.

Let all the beauty bloggers be aware of the site and its users. They can steal your photos next.

Nikki: I guess this is a good reason for us to put watermarks on our own images. It may not prevent sites like Onlylady.com to steal your photos 100% but at least it won’t make things easy for them. It’ll be better for us if this sort of message reaches all parties concerned. That way we can all take precautionary measures.
*le sigh* But watermarks (and uploading too small images) are fugly.
I hate that they’re clueless what it takes to get the shots we post in our blogs! 
True. That’s why we need to get the word out. Sites like Onlylady.com can’t continue putting watermarks on photos that aren’t theirs. Now, even when I don’t really like putting watermarks on my photos, I have to. Gah.
