Fresh Start
Daily Exfoliating Cleanser

This revitalizing cleanser with water-activated microbeads deep cleans and exfoliates without stripping or drying. The White Tea and China Clay enriched lather purifies skin, washing away environmental pollutants. The gentle micro-beads help remove dull, lifeless skin for a perfectly polished complexion.

We’re going back to basics and go for a brand that you’d normally see in the supermarket or a local drugstore. But we are going to take a closer look at the benefits of this product.

I’ve been using Pond’s facial wash as a facial cleanser for a few years now. Ever since I dropped the bar for my face and turned to foam, this is the brand that I’ve (my skin) grown accustomed to.

This particular product is said to be hypoallergenic, which is important for those with sensitive skin and is non-comedogenic, aka it won’t clog the pores, along the T-zone (esp around the nose area), particularly.

The latter should be considered esp if the weather is a bit warm since it usually opens up the pores. It then becomes prone to an accumulation of dust and dirt, which are few of the reasons why zits occur. Another reason can be soap residue, hence, the need for your facial wash to NOT leave any because it would mean it didn’t fulfill it’s purpose, which is to clean the face.

The product is ideal for normal to dry skin. The micro-beads assist in the exfoliation process and in massaging the skin to secrete the necessary oils to naturally nourish and moisturise. Individuals with dry skin will greatly benefit from these points.

From personal experience, having normal-to-oily or normal-to-dry skin (depending on the weather), it has proven to be effective since my skin has remained soft and supple all these years of use, since it somehow seems to create a balance of sorts.

However, I can’t vouch that this product will work for everyone. It’s always best to proceed with caution esp if you do have sensitive skin.

I don’t use bar soaps at all. It dries up my face. I have an oily-dry combo and Neutrogena Foam wash seems to work for me.

Bar soaps are known to do that. But there are some that claims to have more than a fair share of moisturisers in them that they promise not to dry up the skin. Ever tried Dove’s moisturiser bar? :)

This product is great for dry skin!! my skin is mostly dry especially when it’s winter, this facial wash just never turned me down when it comes to cleaning my face. (I have tried a lot of different brands too, which never seemed to work right on me). I have sensitive skin and also had multiply breakouts, but then after using this, i noticed no more breakouts coming. Now my face is almost evenly-toned again!!! just waiting for the old scars to fade away.

Good to know that it works for you. Thanks for sharing. :)
