Hi Emily – thanks for the great testimony! I am a HUGE fan of the Mint Julep mask too – a great, timeless product! Wonder what it is about Texas that is so bad on the pores? Wide open from the heat I guess, then we go into the cool air conditioning and they close up with all that dust and makeup and junk inside. Anyway, thanks for your testimony on Sleepwear – that is really a great product!

I tried Bioelements Oil Control Sleepwear and the Decongestant cleanser. I absolutely love Sleepwear and truly can’t imagine how I got by without it. My skin is prone to breakouts and since I started using Sleepwear (about a month ago) my breakouts are less severe, my skin is softer and seems more even in texture.

I also suffer from clogged pores on my nose (I’m from Texas, also) but I did not notice any difference in my clogged pores from using the Decongestant cleanser. I still use it because it’s a great non-drying/deep-cleaning cleanser but my clogged pores persist.

I have yet to find a product that actually prevents clogged pores but I have a great (and affordable) maintenance solution that I use once a week: I cover my nose with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and let that dry. The clay brings the clogs closer to the surface of the skin. Then I rinse the mask off and follow-up with a Biore nose strip (make sure your nose isn’t too wet). This works like a charm every time!
