My birthday just so happened to roll around a couple of weeks ago, and behold, what do I get? A very timely email from a super-sweet representative for Cake Beauty, asking if I would like to sample some of their products. Well, that just seemed like it was meant to be, so of course I said, “yes!” Here is what they sent:

This is a body scrub made with delectable turbinado sugar (very large cubic shaped grains) and just an incredible assortment of rich, great smelling oils. I am truly in love with this, it leaves your skin feeling amazing and the scent is to die for as well. I am using this one, Sweet Cheeks, with a brown sugar scent, but it is also available in Citrus Squeeze which is full of citrus oils and scents. This comes in a huge 21 oz jar, for $28 US dollars. I super-highly recommend this, you will love-love-love it!

This is the Desserted Island Body Buffer – it is an exfoliating cream that, until I read the description, smelled just like wedding cake to me. Here is what they say:
Creamy Body Buffer has apricot seeds that gently exfoliate away dull and dry skin and perfectly pink jojoba beads that exfoliate and release moisture deep into the skin. The perfectly pink jojoba beads team up with shea butter to give you even more moisture.
Scented with our top selling fragrance, Desserted Island – A whipped vanilla icing with a pinch of Tahitian coconut cream scent.
Now I think it smells like a yummy suntain oil, which is a great scent too. I like to use this product on dry skin, before I get into the bath – it definitely has more exfoliating power that way, and you know how I love to exfoliate!! This is $24, and is in a 5.2 ounce tube.

Last, but not least, is the Creme de la Creme Bath and Shower Froth. This is a nice foamy body soap – they say the scent is vanilla and Canadian maple, but it really smells like warm butterscotch, and gives great bubbles! You can buy this in an 8.5 ounce bottle for $18.
Cake Beauty also has a few great specials going, so don’t miss checking those out! Spend a little time at their website and discover all of the other indulgent goodies they have to offer, and know that from what I have read and the experiences I have had with Cake – you will have a great shopping and customer care experience.

They look amazing! The body wash looks like it has a little bit of shimmer in it, too, to give your skin a reflective glow.
Facial Mask for Flaky Skin
Mask Base:
To make the base, finely powder….
• 1 cup of rolled oats
• 1/2 cup of almonds in a coffee grinder
• 1/2 cup of dried and powdered rose petals
Mix the powdered oats, almonds, and rose petals. Stored in a cool, dry location, in a
tightly covered glass container, this mixture should keep for two months.
To make the facial mask combine:
• 2 teaspoons of cleansing grains
• 1/2 teaspoon of honey
• 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt.
Use whole milk yogurt because the high fat content adds moisturizing properties to the
mask. If your skin is very dry, add a few drops of jojoba oil. I also mix in 2 drops of
frankincense, an essential oil used since ancient Egypt to rejuvenate the skin. Wash your
face with warm water, pat dry, and apply the mask to your face and neck with your
fingertips using gentle circular motions. After 15 minutes (the mask will not harden),
remove with a warm, wet washcloth. Follow with a moisturizer. By http://www.lovelytips.com
