Clarisonic Skin Care Brush

While making my morning rounds this morning, I stumbled across the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush at FashionTribe’s BeautyBuzz. Stevie is always finding great stuff, and this is no exception. You may recall that I love a rotary brush for cleansing my skin and for microdermabrasion purposes, and always have a hard time finding one when mine bites the big one. This is a new one, made by the same folks who make the Sonicare toothbrush, and rather than just being a rotating brush, this one rotates, counter-rotates and ultrasonically vibrates all of that dirt right on out of your pores. From their listing at Beauty.com:
CLARISONIC’s bi-directional brush design deeply cleans and clarifies, creating dynamic zones that work with the skin, not against it.
1. CLARISONIC deep cleansing zone ~ flexing action between the outer and inner brushes works deep within the pores to loosen dirt and oil
2. CLARISONIC clarifying zone ~ back and forth oscillating motion of the inner brush effectively cleans, clarifies and stimulates the skin

This is VERY high on my “to buy” list, and is going to be a big love for me, I think (/me crosses fingers). The unit is pretty pricey at $195, but I won’t blink an eye at paying for it, as I am sure it is a quality product, from a quality manufacturer. beauty.com offers $10 off on purchases over $100 - this was supposed to end at the end of August, but is still being promoted on their site, so now is the time! They also offer free shipping with a $25 purchase for first time customers. Please let me know if you have this, I would LOVE to hear your experiences!
Thanks again Stevie for the heads up about this one!

I recently bought a clarisonic and tonight was my 6th time using it. I don’t use it regularly I only use it when I fell like it. Anyways, before I used my clarisonic, this evening, I decided to take a look at my face closely in the mirror and to my surprise I run my fingers gently to this one black spot in my face, a blackhead i had for i don’t know how long, and it came off easily. It was so soft and my pores was surprisingly small in that particular area. Black head is usually hard and very painful to get rid off by popping it out. Now this is different it is soft and came right off. It’s gross but I am amazed. That’s the only blackhead I had. For me it is worth it. After i use clarisonic I would notice how the whiteheads would be loose and easily comes off. I use the 2 minutes setting because one mins seems to be too short. I prefer 2 mins others prefers 1 min.
Do not purchase this product from Sephora who is still selling the old model, for which there was a recall on some item numbers, instead of the newer three speed model. Sephora is selling the old model without any discount. You should purchase the MD model from Amazon or some other vendor.
