Cosmeceuticals – Skin Medica

The latest round of skin care that has struck my fancy is a dermatologist developed product, by SkinMedica. (Remember talking about cosmeceuticals? I love them so!) You know of my woes with my blackheads and my oily skin and the fact that I refuse to give up coffee and I have been stinking at getting all of my water in lately. Ha ha. So that leaves me on a search for the perfect skin care line that can tackle my problems even though I am very resistant to change in lifestyle. C’mon, I quit smoking, that should be plenty of change for me for a while.
Enter Skin Medica. They have products for the good ol normal and dry folks, which, at age 37 I should be one of those, but am not, so I am looking at their acne line. A couple of things that I have sampled and particularly liked are their Retinol Complex, which provides antioxidant protection and increases cell turnover, getting rid of the old, dry, wrinkly skin making room for newer fresher skin – and their Purifying Mask. I love masks! This one is a deep pore cleansing mask, and it does a fantastic job.
