Day 2: Comments For A Cure

Well, day one of Comments for a Cure resulted in 20 comments (not including my own). 20 is lots more than normal for a day, but we have a far cry to go to hit 200 by the end of tomorrow. So, how to get you out of the woodwork? How about this – inquiring minds want to know:
What is your favorite mascara?

Cover Girl Lash Extend. I think I’ve tried EVERY mascara available for purchase in the USA. If you love to waste money then go with YSL – it’s the second best but it dries up after 3 weeks.

I love Lancome mascara.
Mascara?! I haven’t used it in AGES. But my favorite has always been Maybelline Great Lash. It doesn’t clump and adds just a touch of extra oomph instead of globs. I’m disappointed every time I try an expensive brand.
Thanks for the comments ladies! I need to try Bobbi Brown – have never used anything from her, although I have all her books.
I haven’t tried any of Lancome’s either – and Great Lash is a timeless fave. I am still way into my Elizabeth Arden Double Density…

Diorshow by Dior, but I only use that on special occasions since it makes my eyelashes miles long!
Normall I use Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline
Ooh sounds like Great Lash still has a really strong foothold on the mascara market! DiorShow is on my list to try, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. Is there such a thing as too long eyelashes??

In a word… amazing. Mine are incredibly short and straight and with a few layers of this stuff, they grow right before my eyes.

I’m all about L’Oreal still, though people are trying to get me to swtich. I have one tube from Fresh that is also fantastic!
I haven’t found an absolute favorite yet, but I like Max Factor Lash Perfection and Almay One Coat Triple Effect.
Blinc Kiss Me is my favorite, no smudges!

I’m seconding Lola, Blinc Kiss Me is great. It doesn’t do volume so much as length, but it has amazing staying power – and I’m speaking from the experience of someone who has tried the best Lancome waterproofs (Flextencils, Hypnose) but seen it run off my face.
It has to be Diorshow! I also like the Bare Escentuals brushless mascara. Take a bit of getting used to no brush, just a wand, but really great mascara.
Fresh’s Supernova. It’s great. I tried Dior Show but it flaked quite a bit by the end of the day. I used to be a Great Lash girl, but it’s nothing compared to Supernova.
What you’re doing is BEYOND fabulous. Let’s find a cure!

and i LOVE Lancome’s Definicils. No clumping, goes on so clean and smooth. And makes my little asian lashes long.
Haven’t tried the Maybeline’s Great Lash. Feel as though I’m behind on the times here never having tried it. It’s going on my list now…
i love Great Lash mascara from Maybelline but i just busted out my new Lancome Definicils and i like it too.

Any mascara by Chanel! It simply cannot be beat and it makes your lashes so long with no clumps or flaking, my absolute favorite!
I haven’t tried many, but Clinique’s High Impact mascara works pretty well for me. It gives a more natural look. Maybelline Full n Soft and Great Lash were also nice :]

I really like Fiberwig! I layer it over Lancome’s Cils builder xl (I think that’s what it’s called?) Never budges, perfect length and volume!
