Here’s the other lipstick that’s part of the ARTISTRY™ loot I got recently. If the Lip Colour Creme offers a promise of nude lips, the Lip Colour Sheer in Sandrine definitely offers a more vivid and vibrant shade. This inspires the bold, luscious red lips. Has a satisfying shock value that’ll suit the brave.

Though not planned, I’m now looking into creating a look that will make use of this shade. For someone who prefers a more natural looking makeup, this definitely will entail a lot of courage-mustering. Perhaps I’ll do a mini-photoshoot one of these days, yeah? Even to just try it out. I did try to wear it one time but I ended up wiping some of it off to tone the colour down. I just wasn’t use to it. I ended up with reddish brown lips.

Like the Creme, the Sheer is also easy to apply. It’s a little heavier but is still not sticky. I still don’t like the scent. I prefer the Sheer’s packaging over the Creme. It’s a whole lot more elegant with its matte and chrome gold casing. It’s still in the handy, smaller-sized tube (compared to other lipsticks).

Verdict? If you love lips that reflect luminescent gloss and shine, SPF, and promise of antioxidants on your lips then there’s no harm in giving this a try. I’m still not too keen on the smell, so, if that’s a deal breaker for you, I suggest that you first take a sniff before taking out your wallet.
