Estee Lauder’s Tuberose Gardenia is My Heart’s Desire

I loooooooooove the scent of gardenias, almost better than any other scent in the world. While normally I wouldn’t go ape-y over such a particular flower smell in a perfume, this one is very different. I fell in love with Tuberose Gardenia, from Aerin Lauder’s Private Collection for Estee Lauder at first smell. The parfum is $300, the Eau de Parfum is $65-129, and they have a gorgeously packaged solid perfume for $175. You will be mine, oh yes, you will be mine.

Along with Estee Lauder, they have dozens of other brands involved in this promotion, so hustle on over there and pick up your hearts desire.
The scent of tuberose is lovely. It may be a bit heady for some people, but this lush, rich floral, especially when combined with gardenia, makes me feel like I’m on a tropical vacation. My favorite tuberose fragrance is Fracas by Robert Piguet.
I love gardenias, but I’d LOVE to find a great peony scent. Any ideas?
