Good question. A friend had tipped me on getting cheap ones for practice. I’ll probably look into comparing Shu’s basic lashes with the cheap ones, too. Better to see their individual values for myself, that way I can best determine whether if it is better to go for cheap ones over getting a Shu.

well, do you have to get shu uemura for basic/plain lashes? why don’t you just get a less high-end brand for plain-looking lashes, and get the fancy shu uemura, since that’s what they specialize in?

I’m a new falsies user, but I’d have to say the natural ones too. When falsies have all that stuff on them, they look too fake, and thats not what you want. Unless thats what your going for lol

Both are really beautiful! I’ve only ever worn MAC false eyelashes myself, and they were great. I’ve always heard Shu Uemura’s were very high quality – better than MAC. I agree with Nikki……The basic/natural ones look like they’d really “pop” too!
