Dr. Schultz says that most women across America only wash with bar soap and moisturize? Is this true? Am I one of the few that has an actual “routine?” I just don’t hardly believe it. But, at any rate, this is the basis of Dr. Schultz’s 4 step (and 4 minute!) program for beautiful skin. Ready?

Glamorous Sunscreen

I have been asked to write a little weekly column for Glam. com, here is the first one!

Sunscreen is the most important beauty item you can have in your beauty cabinet. There, I’ve said it – there’s no need for further debate. All of the Shu Uemura Basic Mascara and the divine Estee Lauder High Gloss Lip Gloss won’t hide the very un-beautiful things that the sun can do to your face in the long term. My favorite new sunscreen find this year is the Solar Protection Pads, by Stallex – they have an SPF of 30, are not greasy at all, and best of all they come with a little case that is sooooo easy to throw in your purse and apply in the event of a last minute outdoor lunch or invite to have a cocktail by the pool! This year, even if it may not help the years of past abuse I have given my skin, I am wearing sunscreen. Will you wear it too?

Stallex Skin Care and Sun Protection, by Dr. Neil Schultz

I really love skin care that has been created by a dermatologist – you can call me a sucker if you want to, but I do think they know what is going on with skin better than the average bear (or gigantic beauty company). The most recent line I have come to know about is Dr. Neil Schultz’s Stallex. The products in the line are not inexpensive, but nor are they outrageously expensive, it is a good mid range product line. I have been using some of the sunscreens in the line and are really happy with them.

They have the niftiest SPF 30 sunscreen that comes in pads, like Stridex! How convenient these are. They also have a great sunscreen for the lips and I have also been using their body lotion with a 20 SPF. Love all of them they are great quality products and would gladly try out the rest of the product line.

Dr Schultz also has a book out, It’s Not Just About Wrinkles : A Park Avenue Dermatologists Program for Beautiful Skin in Just Four Minutes a Day that I am going to offer up as the first of hopefully many monthly give aways at eBeautyDaily. I will take all of the comments left in the month of June and will draw from those (meaning as many times as you comment, your name will go in) on the last day of June, and the winner will get a copy of Dr. Schultz’s book.
