My friends know just how much of a night person I am. I’m usually up at night and asleep during the day. Poses a bit of a dilemma when there’s an event scheduled in the morning, which I have to attend. I usually end up missing sleep then. Not much of a testimony for a healthy skin regimen, eh?

Rico has been worrying himself sick that the major reason for my being *too* thin is the lack of sleep or at least not sleeping during *normal* times, which is at night. I guess this is one of my special ways of easing his worries away — DOVE Beauty Body Wash, Calming Night™.

Ironically, it’s actually half past 12 midnight at the time of writing this post. And I’m a few minutes shy of giving the body wash a go. But it’s actually great to transcribe my initial thoughts prior usage, don’t you agree? It’s like “reading the manual” sort of thing or looking at the table of contents of a book — I’m setting expectations and checking out the limitations of the product.

I bought it for a whopping $9.50! LOL. I’m definitely going to check if it’s real value for money. Hehe.

On the outside, I’m pretty impressed with the packaging. Instead of the usual white, it’s like a Pearl-y dark blue coloured “water drop” shaped bottle. I love getting big bottles even when it’ll take me ages to finish. (This reminds me that I have to clear out some of the stuff in my bathroom. Egad.)

Some of the ingredients of the body wash are soybean and sunflower seed oil. It has the calming scent of sandalwood. And I do love the scent! It smells like talc, and has that creamy scent, too. Know what I mean? I can only imagine just how moisturising it’ll be when I get around to using it.

Suggested application: Squeeze body wash onto a wet pouf or washcloth and work into a rich, creamy lather.

I reckon this body wash is meant for your luxurious night time bath, when you’re not rushing to get ready for work or some errand outside the house. It’s meant to be a companion in de-stressing and relaxing before you hit the sack. Can you picture how you’d feel after you step out of the shower, in your pajamas and lounging on your bed, reading a book before you completely head off to la-la-land. I should expect you’ll definitely get a good night’s sleep.

Anyway, perhaps this one might lull me to sleep. Get me to sleeping properly and restfully. i sure need all the de-stressing and the moisturising I can get! I just hope I’m done with my work before I give it ago and find that it’s effective. Hehe. Watch out for the full review!
