One of my favorite beauty icons, Audrey Hepburn, once said, “The beauty of a woman changes with the passing years, it is up to her to manage the change she desires.”
She was so right.
Now, more than 55 years later, Audrey Hepburn’s philosophy has enlightened millions of women to the benefits of taking advantage of all science has to offer when it comes to their appearance.
I’m excited to see though that doing so just became a little bit easier.
Check out the NuFace device: It was recently cleared by the FDA as an at-home cosmetic device that safely and effectively improves the appearance of the face through the use of microcurrent technology. The muscles and skin tissues are lifted and toned utilizing the NuFace’s non-invasive and gentle electrical stimulation. “The NuFace device is bringing anti-aging to the next level,” says Dr. Peter Pugliese, a renowned physician and lead medical consultant of clinical studies for the Carol Cole Company. “Where Botox has made the anti-aging market turn on its heels, the NuFace device is a new and innovative skin health product.”
Currently, microcurrent technology is used in spas to lift and tone the face, reduce and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, improve facial circulation, skin exfoliation, lymphatic drainage, treat sun damage and skin pigment as well as improve product penetration.
Emil Y. Chi, PhD, director of the University of Washington’s department of pathology, performed clinical studies using microcurrent technology. He notes, “The fact that this technology works in harmony with the body is evident. Examination of skin tissue treated with microcurrents showed a 45% increase in the number of elastin fibers in the dermis, collagen thickness in connective tissue increased 10%, and the number of blood vessels increased by 35%. The application of microcurrents to the skin and tissue produced a firmer and tighter feeling on the skin’s surface.”
This all feels like a magic wand, doesn’t it? How does it work?
The NuFace device can be used daily as an addition to a healthy skin regimen. A non-invasive approach to facial rejuvenation, the NuFace device is used to improve muscle tone in the face. The user glides the NuFace device along the contour of the face while a gentle alternating current is emitted through dual spherical probes. In addition, the NuFace device compliments many professional treatments including LED, laser, invasive procedures and injectables such as Botox.
“The NuFacecurrently retailed at spas, medispas, and select online retailers including www.myNuFace.com $379.00 and the kit includes: the NuFace® device, Derma-Gel, Optimizing Mist, Instructional DVD, One year warranty and 30-day money back guarantee. However, ONE reader will win one right now.
To have your chance to win, please share your own tried (and perhaps failed?) methods of following Ms. Hepburn’s sage advice. Deadline November 25.

I use suncream everyday to keep face from aging fast. Plus try every new product but have yet to find one that really works for me.
I use a retinol product called “Help Me” by Philosphy every night……love it! I also think it’s important to use sunscreen, drink lots of water, and eat healthy.
I would love to win this product…..thanks!!!
I use rubbing alcohol to clean my face and use a good moisturizer and stay out of the sun as much as possible.
I started a daily skin care regimen about 4 years ago. I wish I had started earlier.
I believe prevention is a key. The sooner you start looking after your skin, the later it will show signs of aging.
Having just turned fifty, this would be an awesome product for me. I have seen it advertised but just can’t afford to buy one right now.
Thinking positive thoughts…:)
The way that I follow her advice is in not taking anything for granted as I get older, the way that I did earlier. I eat right, sleep right, excercise, moisturize and just in general I’m more careful and gentle with my skin and myself.
SPF 30
I used not to take care of my skin and now notice a few lines:( No I try to use natural ingredients to prevent early aging signs: I use olive oil on my face and lips. I also like to make masks from random products: honey, oatmeal, strawberries… Nature is skin’s best friend, but it would be nice to try a new technology as well. Thanks!
I use sunscreen everyday and although it has helped and I look younger than my years, my
years are adding up and could use some extra help, and this sounds interesting, winning it
sounds even better.
I have been using Retin A and don’t see the results that I would like. I had a chin reduction a few years ago and the muscles around the area are a little more lax and now I have jowling. I think that the Nuface device is exactly what I need to improve my jawline and chin contour.
i moisturize and try to stay out of the sun, otherwise i aging away. i would love to try this
advice on getting older
I drink a ton of water, avoid sugery drinks, avoid candy and most desserts, eat lots of veggies, I’ve cut way down on meat, I do cardio, yoga, and go to sleep early. I use sunscreen outside too. I used to use Retain A, which worked wonders, but we are TTC and I’ve had to stop. These things seem to really help. I do have adult acne, however, so the use of product dries my face out and causes wrinkles. Bummer.
Sunscreen
Would love to try it!
My wife would really enjoy it if I won.
One morning I woke up and looked in the mirror and my skin just looked tired. I knew that something had to change so it was that moment that I vowed to take care of it. My skin regime went from nothing to now using spf 50 sunblock, moisturizing, bioglycolic products in order to preserve my youth. Ms Hepburn was right. We are in control. My skin has never looked better and keeps improving!!
Moisturizing!
Thank you for having this. Sunscreen is something I am a big believer in. Thank you!

I would sure love to win this!
I have tried a lot of moisturizers over the years but the best thing I have done is kept my face protected from the sun!
This would be WONDERFUL
Just use moisterizer.
This looks AMAZING. I would love to win. Thanks so much for this awesome giveaway!
My skin was always very important to me, I would change my beauty look from season to season, but kept my skin regimen the same. I was recently diagnosed with a thyroid condition which has made my facial skin dry and red/flaky. It’s taken a HUGE toll on my confidence and my skin. So I really have been having to change the way I normally take care of my skin. Definitely is taking some getting used to!
Would love to give this a try. I take care of my skin by moisturizing daily and wearing sunscreen.
Looks Great
I wash my face with baby soap and while it is still damp apply Vaseline thinly and use a hot washcloth to steam the Vaseline into my skin. It lasts all day.
Moisturize 3 x per day
At my age I need all the help I can get.
Sunscreen moisturizer – every day
ktgonyea at gmail.com
I would love to try this too.
always moisturize, I don’t always put on enough SPF
I woke up one day and scared myself in the mirror. I’ve been using anti-aging repair creams and a multitude of products in an effort to reverse the damage I did by all those years in the sun. I wish I had known then what I know now.
just moisturizer…
I used to tan in tanning beds 4-5 times per WEEK! One day I looked at myself and was not happy so I stopped. Now at 33 I look younger than I did in my mid-twenties. I attribute that to the usage of SPF, no more tanning beds, low alcohol intake and the great way I (finally) take care of myself overall.
by not wearing sunscreen
Moisturizer with SPF
I always use sunscreen but my mother hasn’t always so I would love to give this to her for xmas
Moisturizer and sunblock. Works every time.
I’ve used every anti-aging cream on the market!! But sunscreen and no smoking has helped me alot
I bought a Facersize tape on doing exercises for the face. What a waste of money. Smiling is the best way to look youthful.
Sunblock – DAILY
I moisturize.
all the anti aging creams don’t seem to work very well
Sunblock, sunblock..I can’t say enough of about taking care of your skin while being outside in the sun.
I have tried to follow her advise over the years. However I am also thinking it is a good thing the vision starts to go as the skin ages. Could so use some help to slow down the process. THANKS!
wow
Trying a lot of things. This sounds fascinating.
Would love to win and use it.
Keep a sure and steady hand. Don’t be afraid to experiment.
I drink plenty of water to keep my skin in wonderful condition and take my make up off like a good girl!
I moisturize and always use sunscreen
