Girl-approved hair!

Girls, I am sure you are all very familiar with at least one incredibly sexy man who wears Axe. In reality, chances are they would be hot even without the scent…but it certainly doesn’t hurt.
Due to this – and the fabulous man candy apparent at all their affairs – I am always super excited to receive any sort of invite from AXE to attend their events. In the past months, they have them to celebrate everything from body wash to to body spray – and last night, they went in a whole new direction: Axe hair care!
Held at the super trendy Prive Salon in even trendier SOHO, NYC, there was a stylist on duty styling men in the style of Axe, over pink cocktails and platters of lobster salad and empanadas. (And hot Aussie bartenders!)
As we prefer our men to look sexy but not be all metrosexual about it, Axe does a great job describing a product’s use on the container itself: from clean-cut, to messy and shaggy, or spikey for the extremists.

The study shows that while “Only 29 percent of guys think hair is very important when it comes to attracting a girl, two-thirds (63 percent) of girls say that guys with bad hair don’t understand that their hair makes a negative impression on girls.”
Here’s some other interesting factoids we learned last night:
“Most girls (72 percent) think guys do not know how to style their hair to its full potential, but 85 percent of guys think their hair is pretty good.”

My husband and I were vacationing in Florida a few years ago with another couple. My girlfriend who is a natural blonde has brought some hair lightener with her for the trip hoping to try and lighten her hair a little in the bright strong Florida sun. Unknown to any of us, before we went to the beach my husband sprayed some in his hair before we went down to the beach, and my husband has light brown hair. Well, as the day went on my husband’s hair literally started changing color, it went from orange to shades of yellow to almost white in some spots, I kid you NOT! We were all laughing so hard when he told us what he had done! He ran into the ocean and tried to rinse the hair lightener out but it seems like the salt water made it worse! He wore a baseball cap for the rest of the trip because his hair color resembled that of a clown! I would love to win him these ultra cool AXE products so he can learn what normal men products are and gain some confidence back in how to properly care for your hair, LOL! He wanted to cut his hair and ended up shaving his head! Now that his hair is longer again, it would be nice to have these products so he will never be tempted to cut it himself again.
The scariest thing a boyfriend of mine ever did to his hair was to cut it all off – REALLY short – because he didn’t know what to do with it (and he looked awful that way!). So he would be helped by these products after I taught him how to use them!
The scariest thing my husband has ever done to his hair is shave the sides of his hair and made a mohawk!! He has beautiful thick hair with soft curls and these great Axe products would help make his hair look styled and not puffy. Thanks!

My fiance is thinking about cutting his hair and I want to change his mind so bad because he doesn’t think that he can make it look good. I saw this man the other day in the store who used this product and his hair looked awesome and I would love my fiance to have this
i came one day to find my husband cutting his own hair – he asked me how does it look? well, there was a big hole in the top – needless to say – his hair was all shaved down that day.
The AXE Clean-Cut Look Pomade would keep his wild and curly locks under control and looking fabulous – so no more self hair cuts.
When we were dating he clipped it way down, I hated it. Now were much older and I’m sure the shampoo conditioner would make his her less dry and more manageable.
Shaved it all off. He’s a really big guy – and he’s Asian too – but despite small parents – especially his tiny mom, he is about 6′4 and broad with a very large head – think more Samoan then Taiwanese. So when he shaved his head, although I still think he looked cute, he was quite literally scary to others! These will help him tame his hair on a day to day basis and even style it.

My husband has hair that grows fast. So when he doesn’t get his hair cut often, he has rooster hair. These would help at least style the longer locks…lord only knows he needs it.
OMG he came home with this curly over grown hair FLAT IRONED! Doing that gave him a mullet! This was just 2 days ago!
DH cuts his own hair!!! As long as he insists on doing it himself, maybe these products can help.

Mr. Man decided to give himself a mohawk while under the influence. His buddies didn’t tell him it was a bit crooked…oh yeah! I came home from visiting my parents to find a white man’s version of a mohawk. I’m laughing just remembering it…wish I had a picture to share.

The funniest thing my man did was shave his head. He actually sunburned his scalp!

Let someone with very little haircutting experience cut his hair. He has beautiful hair and these products would be great!
My husband let his brother cut his hair. It was a total disaster. My husbands hair is a challenge everyday. These products would be a tremendous help for him.

The time he got a spike and colored it green. It was definitely scarey.
It would have to be the time he wanted to “bleach” his hair for that sun-kissed look. Well… he took the bottle of bleach from under the kitchen sink and used that full strength. Luckily I was standing right there and made him run his head under the water right away. He was fine, but his hair wasn’t!!
