Last week, in between fashion week craziness and nasal faux-pas, I had one high point: I finally got to experience the new Schick Quattro for Women product – Trim Style – a bikini trimmer and razor all in one!
This new razor is battery-powered and waterproof, which is cool enough – but it also is dual-sided! One side is a razor, the other side, a bikini trimmer.
Obviously, this is a good thing – how many of you have tried to use a regular razor in those “sensitive spots” and ended up having the scars to prove it? This way, you can be neat and pretty on all your parts without any icky cuts or scrapes. (How not sexy is THAT?)
The trimmer side also has a comb attachment that snaps to feature 3 different lengths depending on your preference. You must see for yourself: Schick is giving away three of their new Trim Style. To have your chance to win, please share your most devastating bikini line trimming experience. (Painful laser? Waxing gone bad?) Deadline is March 5.

The first time I waxed, many years ago, I purchased a home kit; not having a clue how to use it. I left the wax on too long, intentionally, thinking it would work better if I did. It got stuck and I could not get it off, no matter what I did, and you want to talk about hurt! So…I tried to put cold water on it, ahahahahahhaa….that made it worse. I haven’t waxed since, nor do I intend to.
I can’t say I’ve had a devestating bikini line trimming experience.
I once shaved it alll~big mistake! I then got heat rash & it took a month to heal.
the first time i ever tried to cut “down there” what a nightmare, never again!
The most devastating experience was when I tried shaving the bikini line with just water. I ended up with razor burn and was quite miserable sitting out in the heat in a swimsuit that day.
I can’t say I’ve had a devastating bikini line trimming experience. I’ve got scars on my shins from razor accidents. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
Shaving…I ended up w/ razor burn which was so awful!
Laser hair removal. All that painful stuff and it still grew right back!!!
No really bad experiences just lots of bumps and a little razor burn.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Shaving “delicate” areas has got to be an art, for sure!! I’ve had my fair share of too close shaves, and the bumps that ensue. I’m sure this new razor will make this a lot easier for a lot of us!!
razor burn has been my worst experience
No really bad experiences but I love my old Silk Effects razor and cant find refills so I’d love to learn about the Quatrao. I hate razor burn!!
Thanks for a chance to win!
I had less time in the shower than I expected so only got to shave one side….and only with water!
I have always been a waxing expert and have never had a bad experience with it but lately i’ve been very lazy to warm it up and then clear all the mess that results in the end. Therefore I decided to start using hair removal cream. As a result of using the cream my skin got burnt and I was in a horrible state where I could neither pee nor sit nor could bear cloth touching those areas. It took me weeks to get rid of the rashes and burn and I promised myself that I would never ever use creams again and I was excited to see this new product which I can use when I’m in a rush and have no time to wax.
I had a woman do a Brazilian on me who had never done one before and didn’t speak English!!! She used little eyebrow sized wax strips and it took over an hour before another woman came in and realized what was going on. I then had 2 women putting got wax on my vagina and it was the worst experience ever!!!
I was pregnant and needed to clean things up for my doctor appointments. Well, I ended up almost nicking…my clitoris! I can’t believe I just admitted that, LOL. After that I didn’t care what things looked like for the remainder of my pregnancy. That was way too close for comfort. In my defense I couldn’t see what I was doing at that point.
When it comes to shaving I tend to have the worst luck. One time I was reaching back in the shower to rinse the razor and nicked my nipple! One time in high school again I was reaching back to rinse the razor and I managed to cut my hip really bad.
I once tried veet, VERY BAD IDEA! I had lots of bumps which turned into many many little scabs. The pain lasted for months! Can’t wait to try out the new schick!
I shaved my bikini area and got really bad razor burn, it looked like i had herpes, and my boyfriend went down there and i freaked out because i didn’t want him to think i had something going on down there, i felt like such an idiot.
my boyfriend thought it would be fun to take a shower together…i wanted to make sure i had a good shave, so before going to his house i shaved my bikini area, i got a cut, and thought by the time i got to his house it would be fine. we got into the shower and i had a huge scab, i wad devastated.
I accidentally cut myself with scissors while grooming down below! Ouch!
I guess I have very sensitive skin b/c one time i got waxed and a huge patch of skin came off w/the hair talk about PAINFUL
Wow! I sure have stories for this topic! From waxing, to shaving, to trimming with scissors…haha! I laugh now, but I surely wasn’t laughing then. Well, once I was shaving and I had my leg propped up on the side of the bathtub while I was showering, some of the shave gel rinsed down underneath my foot and I slipped. Obviously, the razor did too, and I ended up with a 4 inch long gash from the back to the front. Let’s see, once I was sick on Valentine’s Day but I still wanted to go out to dinner with my fiance, and I was trimming up with some scissors and actually cut a piece. Try explaining that during “dessert”! And then there was the time that I first tried self waxing…lol. I had bought these little prewaxed plastic strips so that I could do my eyebrows and lip at home, which was really painful but I did it anyway because I thought all wax hurt that bad (which I know now that it doesn’t). Well, I got to thinking “that would really save me from razor burn and bumps and embarrasment”. So, I rubbed one between my hands to warm it up (as instructed) and I slapped it right on. When I ripped it off, most of the hair was still attached…most of my skin was not. I screamed and my fiance came rushing in wondering what was wrong, he stopped dead in his tracks and started laughing. I yelled at him, I didn’t think it was very funny. I still have some very unattractive scars. I could definately use something like this, it would save me ALOT of pain.
Was already out of the shower, tried shaving with just a small bit of water BAD idea..
Tried to trim with scissors OUCH! never again
I was planning all morning to shave down there before we went to the beach. Me and my friends decided to leave a little earlier than we planned. So then I forgot to totally shave down there. But I didn’t realize till we got outside, on the beach sand, and people were staring down at me.
Absolutely the worst waxing experience I’ve ever had was when I went to a place near my house. The room was dirty, the woman was horribly rough and missed several spots, she dripped wax ALL over my jacket and when i complained attacked me with nail polish remover to get the wax off. I can’t tell you how awful this experience was. It was horrible! I would love to try Schick’s new product!
I went for a wax and I think it might have been this woman’s first time. It started out okay – normal pain but slowly progressed to extremely painful. At one point she made a mistake and couldn’t get the wax off! I ended up peeling from burning hot wax and attempts and her trying to get the wax off. If that isn’t the worst experience I don’t know what is. I’d love to try Schick’s razor and trimmer combo!
Yeah. I have this razor. really, you would think it would get all the way down to the base of your skin like shaving your legs…but it cuts off maybe a fourth of a strand on the closest setting. I love the other side…but the trimmer isn’t working out. The first time I used it…my dad was banging on the bathroom door yelling at me because he thought I was using HIS trimmer for his beard. I took the punishment. It sure beat telling him what it REALLY was.
I have serious razor bumps nd im ashamed 2 show mi bf…he said he didn’t kare but I think if he sees how bad it is he will…Im so afraid..some 1 help plz nd gimme advice on what I should do…should I show him or keep it 2 miself !!
