Part of my life as a beauty editor is getting boxes upon boxes of new cosmetics and skincare products each and every day. Sound glam? Sometimes. But it also can lead to some unfortunate experiences.

When someone thought I was a pothead due to the circles under my eyes!
At my class reunion when us girls began comparing our lines on our skin. I had only a couple but I knew what was ahead. I decided to take better care of my skin.
My wakeup call was when my mother told me I was starting to get lines. That was huge for me. Definitely started me on better skin care.
spending half my life tanning I woke up one day an noticed that i had squint lines that seemed to be getting deeper..I decided enough was enough I was only 30 then..I no longer tan or smoke I wanted to keep my health and skin looking its best..and for being 44 i look really good

I had 2 “pre cancerous” lesions removed and ever since all my makeup has SPF 15 or higher and I know no longer bask in the sun!
