Heading East

The day has finally come. Post #1 on Beauty Bento Box.

And while the word goddesses among us may deem my first move on this, the first post, as cliche, I find it just impossible to avoid. I must begin with a primer on who I am and what’s to come.

I’m Anita, a journalist and editor of a national lifestyle magazine, called East West. While the magazine will always be my first born, I consider Beauty Bento Box a much-awaited second child I’m excited to nurture. ( Yes, I am also slightly wacko and in my own world).

I hope this blog will become THE spot for knowledge on powerful Eastern beauty secrets and philosophies. A perfectly-portioned sampling, packed pretty.

We’ll examine interesting ingredients like Ginseng, Ginger and Neem . There will be at-home recipes, product round-ups and expert interviews. And with every item, the message will be simple: how fusion in the beauty world – a mix of East and West – can lead to stunningly gorgeous results. Oh yeah, and there will be specials too! Did someone say Free stuff?

I kick off with a perfect example of fusion from Roger&Gallet, which fits into my obsession with quality soaps and pretty packaging. Let’s admit it, pretty packaging makes us all feel a little more special.
