Yeah yeah I know. I haven’t talked about the new season of Project Runway at all yet! Yikes! I think I’m a little depressed about them leaving Bravo, but that’s a whole ‘nother story. But know I am watching, and loving it - and I hope you are too. As the contestants get narrowed down a bit more, I’m sure Ill talk more about it. The beginning of the season is always a little overwhelming.
But, what I can talk about is Heidi Klum’s foray into skin care.
This is In An Instant, a venture between Heidi Klum and Gunthy-Renker. The distinct feature of this skin care line is that it is one system that does everything, “in an instant.” The claim is that right away you will notice positive exfoliation, hydration, wrinkle reduction, lifting, firming, and pore minimizing effects. Sweet.
There is something to be said about a line of 5 products. I am sure you have noticed that some lines now have a treatment product for each and every skin ailment you might possibly have. Lotions, potions and serums, cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, day, night, toners, eye cream, lip cream and wrinkle cream. Often expensive and not just a little confusing.
In An Instant by Heidi Klum includes these 5 products:
- Gentle Foaming Cleanser: With its rich-foamy texture and hydrating ingredients it removes makeup instantly and maintains skin’s protective moisture barrier without stripping skin of its natural oils.
- Intensive Firming Serum: Its peptide technology reduces deep wrinkles, softens the appearance of fine lines and evens skin tone.
- Instant Wrinkle Smoother: It instantly plumps fine lines and dramatically diminishes the look of deep vertical lines.
- Instant Daily Tinted Moisturizer, SPF 15: It hydrates and protects skin from UVA and UVB rays. Its Smart Indicator shows how much coverage it’s giving.
- Instant Warming Scrub: With its skin warming action, it reduces pore size and dramatically resurfaces skin.
So, the best part? A 30 day supply retails for $29.95. Yup - affordable. Currently, at InAnInstant.com, with your kit order, you will receive Intensive Eye Treatment, for a total of 6 products. Be forewarned though, you will be auto signed up for a club that will send you new product every 30 days. If you love the product and are lazy about ordering - this is a good thing. If you are disorganized and not so regular about your skin care plan (*gasp*), this might not be so good. So be aware is all Im saying. And if you’ve tried this, I would love to know what you think! Go Heidi!

Hmmm, very interesting. Skin care for $1 a day is appealing, especially with anti-aging products. I can’t wait to see some reviews of the line …
ohh this products sounds nice and the price sounds even better, this is a must buy
Became optimistic after seeing those instant products but can u pls tell me r those INSTANT products made of chemicals?
i’m so into skin care right now. i want this! but is this good for terribly oil-slick skin as well?
I’ve been using this line for a year now and absolutely love them—particularly the Intensive Firming Serum. They’re great for sensitive skin and are chock-full of peptides AND loaded with antioxidants. Full disclosure, I’m in the infomercials that will be airing in a month or two, but I agreed to participate because I adore the line so.
Vorrei acquistare i prodotti come posso fare?
Grazie.
I purchased the ‘in an instant’ set. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the facial cleanser and the facial scrub…. as for ALL the wrinkle reducing products…. they left my face REALLY GREASY! AnD I do not have greasy skin! Maybe it’s different on everyone… but…. be warned! But I can almost gaurantee you will love the cleanser and scrub. My face feels like silk… with my bare minerals makeup and without!
I tryed the in an instant set and the cleanser felt like soap water on my face. The wrinkle stick did not work. The scrub was nice but it did get hot not warm but hot on my face and I could not leave it on long. I tryed it for 3 wkkes and all it did was make my skin look lighter and made my face dry out. This skin care set is not for me .I guess it works on everyone different.
I’m 48 years old. I’ve been using the products for almost a month. I absolutely love the firming serum and the tinted moisturizer, which truly acts as a nice primer also under your foundation. My pores are visibly tighter and my skin is very soft and smooth without being greasy at all. My overall skin tone has also become much more even. However, I did not like the instant wrinkle smoother. Even though I tried to use as little as possible (thinking at first I was using too much) it still looked “caked” and dry on my lines after a couple hours, which made them look even more pronounced! It also made no difference using it before or after my foundation, as the info suggested. The jury is still out on the nighttime eye cream. I will continue using the two products I do like.
I watched the infomercial and decided to try it for the half price offer. I called up and only after I gave out all my personal information, including my credit card number, did they reveal that it was a club membership and I’d be on a recurring payment plan for a 90 day supply. When I declined and asked for just the offer that was on the commercial I was told the only way to get it was through the club membership and I could mail back the 90 day supply if I wasn’t satisfied. I clearly said no thanks but now I am worried I will get the order anyway because they had already taken my information. I don’t want to have to deal with shipping costs to send back something I didn’t even want. I wanted to try one product and if it is as amazing as they say it is I’d buy more. That marketing strategy is not only a bait and switch but doesn’t bode well for how well the product works. Other products don’t have to use sneaky tactics to sell because they sell themselves. I tried to give feedback to the call representative and was told the only way to complain was through an address with a hand written letter. No email. That says they are trying to minimize negative feedback by making it as hard as possible to complain. That is why I chose to write here…to warn people. Heidi Klum this is a terrible PR move on your part. You’ve attached your name to a sketchy marketing scheme and I now think for you it’s all about the money whenever I see you.
I love Heidi Klum and so I gave it a shot. What a joke. That wrinkle stick, what is that all about? It cleansed OK and did not irritate my skin at all, but it did not help either. The Oil of Olay products I buy at Target work just as well if not better. Waste of money and anyone that signs up for these auto shipments is looking to get ripped off. Immediate red light should go off, although even if you do not sign up companies may do it anyway. What I do not get is why don’t people just cancel their credit card instead of watching their card get charged for hundreds of dollars? One phone call and no more auto billing. Heid I lost some repect for you with this one. How rich do people have to be? They will sell their souls.
