Keeping Brushes Mold-free | Beauty Bento Box, The Asian Beauty BlogIf you grew up thinking that putting makeup is just a simple process of grabbing a brush and putting on colour on your face then you’ve got to read this post about keeping brushes mold-free. Yes. Mold.

One of the things you really need to know about this whole beauty thing is that a whole part of it is skincare. Makeup is simply to enhance and/or create a look, different or otherwise. And brushes you use to apply the makeup needs to be clean since these touch the area that is most sensitive (and not to mention most taken care of), the skin on your face.

Phoebe Ramos of Swipe Some Gloss has shared ways on how she keeps her brushes mold-free. She shared three methods, you get to choose which one is most appropriate to your needs.

Method #1: Use Cinema Secrets brush cleaner.

Method #2: Use undiluted 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Method #3: Shampoo, rinse, disinfect, and drain very well.

Method #3 has photos to illustrate how the process goes. I recommend a look, so, you’d learn how to take better care of your brushes.

Hi Sasha (I love ur name), where can we buy CS brush cleaner? I found out that they don’t have that in PI (or at least the one in Mkti). Thanks in advance!

    Great blog!
