Kylie Minogue – Elle’s Woman of the Year 2008

In the midst of London’s Fashion Week, going on now, Elle’s Style Awards 2008 has made their mark. Kylie Minogue won the Woman of the Year award:
Honestly, I don’t really get the appeal of Kylie Minogue, can someone enlighten me? I know she has beaten cancer over the last year or so, and that is a huge and wonderful achievement for her, but she had crazy appeal to people before that ever happened. What is it? The only thing I have ever known her for was that (stupid, sorry) Locomotion song. Certainly not enough to make one an international superstar. I guess it is indeed one of those international things. Like David Hasselhoff (yeah yeah don’t hassle the hoff). Let the beatings begin. 
Completely agree! Have never understood the appeal with Kylie and am baffled that she’d be named Woman of the Year … what gives?
Oh but Christina, there was the smashing “Can get you outta my head”. I love Kylie – she has amazing style!
well no-one can really say what the appeal is it’s just whenever she goes out to an event she just seems to shine. and she makes fantastic records, i went to go see her twice, because i loved her so much on her showgirl tour. Shes like a role model to girls everywhere. Other people may dissagree but everyones alowed there own opinion.
