Starting with the era of Spin Lash, there’s been great debate about the pros/cons of sticking a vibrating brush near your eye.
Clearly, the cons are quite apparent. Especially for someone who has been known to nearly blind myself with eyeliner.
But there are benefits to a vibrating mascara, and Lancôme’s first foray into the field is a good one. Like something out of a sci-fi movie, press the button to activate 7,000 oscillations per minute – this helps to wrap every lash with a full round of color, and actually less smudging than a regular brush. (Which is the part that surprised me.)

I’m also very skeptical about trying this new & improved mascara wand! But I have heard from several people that it works really well, and that they love it! Hm. maybe it would be worth a little mascara in my eye, we’ll see!
