Lovin’ the ChickAdvisor

You have probably seen and participated in some of the plethora of these Web 2.0-ey sites for women and shopping, but I wanted to tell you about one you might not have discovered yet – Chick Advisor. Admittedly, I haven’t spent a lot of time at any of these sites, mostly because I just am flat out too busy, but I found this one earlier in the fall from my friend and co-worker, Mark Evans and thought you might like to know about it. [What Mr. Man Tech Mark Evans is doing perusing beauty sites is another article entirely. ]

This is a great place to come for ideas, for recommendations and for the social aspects, but what is different about this one? I really like the ease of use compared to some of the others – and the site design is marvelous. And girly – but without being gross-girly, if that makes sense. The people are ultra friendly, and it is just a fun place to surf around, even if you don’t ever share a review. But do share a review – that is the heart of ChickAdvisor, and what woman do you know that doesn’t love to give their opinion? Not me, for sure. And, I do have to say in the interest of full disclosure, that the one review I have made won me a Sephora gift certificate in a drawing they had recently. Girl stuff, shopping AND prizes?
