My Lashes’ Fave New Accessory

Ever since I wrote recently about Maybelline’s new Lash Stiletto, people keep emailing me asking what makes it so special.
Let it be said: When I write about ANY product twice in a matter of weeks, it’s a huge deal. (If you saw my beauty product collection, you’d understand.)
God graced me with pale blonde lashes – no one can see them without the lacquer of a good mascara. This one is shiny and almost patent-leather-like, but also super lengthening and dries crazy quickly – meaning that there’s less danger of you dotting up your face as you do your makeup. (Not that I have a history of doing that…) The mascara also contains B5, which is where that black patent shine comes from, and a really fun criss-cross brush design that helps to better grip and extend lashes as you coat them.
I’m also a fan because of the mess with the economy – none of us can afford to be spending $30 on a tube of mascara anymore – especially not when there’s this awesome one you can find at your local drugstore for under $10. It’s just simple math. (In my case, it means that I can justify owning a home tube, a travel tube, and a desk tube.)
Oh well, fiscal responsibility is what you make of it.

Aly –
have you tried those new “lash enhancers” yet? All the ones trying to compete with the prescription Latisse? I did a write-up on them for Wag’s next issue but am sort of afraid to put anything like that near my eyes. But can it be worse than what’s in a tube of mascara? lol…
LMK what you think…would love to hear!
