‘Naughty’ Orly Nail Lacquer on my Nails

Oh, the vanities of women. What we do on our bodies sometimes. Painting our faces and nails in various colours. It’s a little funny when you think about it. LOL.
Anyway, I’ve been quite hooked on dark nail polish lately and I just wanted to show you guys what I had the manicurist do on mine last week. I scheduled this appointment cuz of the event I had to go to Friday night. I’m currently sporting a ‘Naughty’ colour from Orly Nail Lacquer. I found the colour sleek and gorgeously dark and I loved it!
I’m not the type to go for the matte nail polish. I’ve always preferred them with shimmer. I had considered a bronze shimmer second coat, mix it with the Orly Nail Lacquer but decided against it in the end. I thought I’d be a daredevil and try the polish alone. Good thing cuz I loved the result! The glossy finish didn’t make the nail polish look blah and cheap-looking, which was something I feared it would turn out. I’m now even considering buying my own bottle! Er, well, if I’m not too lazy to apply it myself. More often than not I leave my nails to a specialist. I’m that vain. Heh.
So, what do you guys think?

I have always loved deep dark reds during the holidays and winter months. It sets of silver jewelry so nicely with a glint in moody lighting.

I’m confused. Is that what you are calling a matte finish? Looks really shiny to me. My company ManGlaze Ink makes a real matte nail colour called ManGlaze. Check it out. You’ll probably hate it.
