no!no! Thermal Hair Removal

I am always on a quest for new ways to get rid of my unwanted hair. I keep looking at the Braun that I think SP recommended to me last year, but the thought of yanking hairs out one by one (or even 5 by 5) reminds me a little too much of the 80’s. LOL I would love nothing more than to never ever have to shave my legs again – I just HATE it. So, I am always right on the bandwagon to try something new in the hair removal arena.

So, here is the no!no! thermal hair remover. Hmm. I found this while getting my Sephora order together – it is a brand new product exclusive to Sephora. Sephora says this:
With a no!no! treatment there’s no pain, you don’t have to wait for hair to grow long in order to remove it, and there is no skin irritation like in-grown hairs, red pimples, or rashes to cover up. Remember no!no! is a treatment process for hair reduction and not a miracle cure for unwanted hair. Like any professional hair treatment, it takes time and dedication to achieve your desired results. The same holds true for the revolutionary no!no! hair removal system; with all the right moves, stubble-free, super smooth skin will be yours. Be sure to follow the directions closely for the safest, most effective results. No!no! is not recommended for use on the face. Additionally, the thermal heat signal destroys the hair, which is characterized by odor. Use the buffer to remove residue and maximize smoothness, then shower or bathe and follow with body moisturizer.
Ok – no pain, burnt hair smell, takes time and dedication. I can handle all of those (especially if there is no pain). This little puppy costs $250, but if it works, it is well worth the cost. So, my question to you is, have you tried it – or do you know anyone who has? I just told my hubby this is a must have (in PINK, of course), so hopefully when we go to Vegas next week, he can play some blackjack with his lovely wifey in mind.
But dang, I wish I didn’t have to shave my legs while I was there.

Why not electrolysis? Electrolysis is actually really reasonably priced, especially if you don’t have to go back for too many treatments. I think I’d rather put $250.00 towards electrolysis treatments then towards a gadget that isn’t going to give me as good of results.
Actually I tried electrolysis for a year and the hair in question is still growing. I hate to think how much I spent for nothing… and it hurt big time. I’m curious to find out how this little gizmo works. It would be so nice not to have to ever bother shaving again. And the Brawn epilator worked well for me, but then I had ingrown hairs to contend with. Not a pretty sight!
We have a ton of women that ask us for the newest in hair removal products and while we think that the Braun products will sell very well the one that everybody is waiting for is the handheld laser hair removal system tha tis supposed to come out in about 2 months.
I have done laser hair removal for my under arms and entire bikini area (including my happy trail) for an extremely reasonable price. Each session cost about $120 every 6 weeks (or so) for all of the areas done. I went for 8 treatments and am TOTALLY HAPPY. It’s an awesome investment for me. I do go for random touch ups every 4 – 6 months, but my girl only charges me $40-50 for those. I only am doing maintenance to catch the stray ones that show up during the week. Otherwise, I am planning on starting my upper leg area soon. My boyfriend is going to have his back done too. I totally recommend laser over all other products. No in grown hairs, no burns, no “gray” areas after the treatments. I LOVE IT!
Hi Christina,
Sephora sent me a tester in Oct. and I’ve been using, test and blogging about the review.
It doesn’t hurt, no ingrown hair, no chemical mess but it does smell bad (can’t stand the burning hair smell). For me it beats shaving and waxing. Over the last eight weeks of usage I’ve seen a reduction in hair growth and stubble regrowth is much slower.
Some of my readers with coarse hair haven’t seen good results. My hair is really fine and that might just be easier to get rid of – so if you have coarse hair you may not want to purchase this product. If you do, you have 60 days to try it out at no risk.
Frankly, I saw results in the first three to four weeks so you will definitely know if it works for you before the 60 days are up.
If you get it let me know how it works for you.
Best.

I have tried this and I have tried the epila personal home laser. I have been using the epila for about a week and I defintely like this one better. It does give a burnt hair smell but it didn’t really hurt – I was waiting for it to – grimmacing but it never did.
Hello,
Why can’t you use “No No” on the face?
Thank you.
I also tried electrolysis for about a year and a half. It was very painful. Expensive $65, every 3 weeks. I wouldn’t have minded all that except for it really didn’t work. I still have tons of hair on my face and neck!!
I am also interested to know if any of the other hair removal products mentioned here can be used on the face.
