Notes on Seikisho Mask White

I really love this Seiokisho mask – between this and Bioelements Sleepwear, my skin hasn’t looked this good in years. But there are some tricks to application that you should know.

  1. If you apply it too thin, it hurts like hell when you peel it off.
  2. If you apply it too thick, it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to dry.
  3. Do not remove it if there is any part of the mask still wet, you lose the benefit, and the black goo is sooooo hard to remove from your face when it is half dried.

You will have to experiment to find your happy place, but when properly applied, you cannot see your skin through the mask, and it will take, in all honesty, 45 minutes to an hour to dry, so plan your time wisely. :) Anyone else tried this yet? It is wonderful…

Thanks for the tip, I’ve been looking for a great peel off mask to try. I haven’t used this one, but I have reviewed several other great masks on my blog: http://www.alexandracandler.com.

I’ve started using this a couple of weeks ago and initially it was 30 mins to dry but it soon became 45 mins. The happy place for me keeps changing because it is hard to be consistent all the time. But I agree…it’s great for deep cleansing at least once a week.
