Here’s something interesting…I,too, needed to lose 60 pounds, AND my boyfriend contracted a bacterial infection. I read something that said that people who come together have more in common than you might think. I went from doctor to doctor trying to find out what was wrong with me, when a Japanese doctor told me I might have a bacterial infection in my colon, and to go on an oatmeal, brown rice & vegetable diet. He said these foods had anti-bacterial properties in the colon and I would lose weight. I went on the internet, and sure enough, oatmea and brown rice do have anti-bacterial properties. So I went on the diet and VOILA! I lost 80 pounds and will eat this way for the rest of my life.
