With Mom here for the week, it is an ideal time to get her to sample some hair products I have acquired for fine hair, the first being Paul Mitchell’s Lemon Sage Shampoo and Conditioner, a new product in their Tea Tree line. As you might remember, I am a HUGE fan of Paul Mitchell – I am always hard pressed to find products better than theirs, and most often cannot. Along with having baby fine hair, Mom has been suffering from dry, itchy scalp problems lately, and her use of the Lemon Sage products have eliminated that almost immediately – this, I imagine is a factor of the Tea Tree oil in the products.
She loved the scent, and her hair was easy to style and full of body. This gets a big thumbs up from Mom!
Here is some information from the Paul Mitchell web site:

When I was little, my sisters and I would play “beauty shop” with our mom. She would relax on the couch with a magazine and we’d take turns brushing her hair and pretend to wash it, etc.
Please don’t take away time from you visit with Mom to answer this question. I’ve always wondered this, but surely can wait for a reply. Is it true that Paul Mitchell products (and other ‘designer’ hair products) sold at grocery stores and big discount stores are NOT the same formulas that sell in beauty salons? Or is that all hype?
That sounds like a good post – will put the answer on my schedule for next week.
Stay tuned Gail!
