Pawl Mitchell

Looks like one of my favorite product lines is moving into the pet beauty market! Oh, how things have changed since the death of Paul Mitchell.
From the New York Times:
Some of the newest pet grooming products come directly from the human beauty industry. Paul Mitchell, the hair products manufacturer, has spun off a line of pet grooming products marketed under the name John Paul Pet, which includes tea tree oil dog shampoo and foaming waterless shampoo for cats. Next year it plans to release nail polish for dogs in 12 colors, as well as a line of essential oils for pets.
“What we’re seeing is similar to the beauty industry, where high-end products are sold through stylists and salons,” said Rod Loomis, chief executive of the company that develops and markets John Paul Pet products. “In our case groomers are becoming retailers.”
The funny thing is, my dogs already use Paul Mitchell, (and OPI’s Pawlish) and have for years.

Goodness. Pawl Mitchell? ROFLMAO.
You pet owners crack me up.
Yeah, but isn’t my new puppy a cutiepie?
That’s your doggy? Very very cute!!
First, I am LOVING that picture of Pebbles!! It is making me want to come visit my sissy, and love on that sweet puppy. She has the most cuteness of long, flopears, and such sweet rubber lips!!!
Next, a comment on Paul Mitchell–I am a fan too, as you well know since you used to be my beauty supply connection, but you might mention the buildup issue–especially with the leave-in conditioner, and how to avoid this.
LOL it is a crummy picture, but the best I could do at the time. I never claimed to be a photographer
Did ‘ums miss my article on buildup not so long ago?
I dont have buildup problems myself with PM’s The Conditioner, but if you find you do, try out a little baking soda once a week. That should take care of it for you.
Ooops, I did miss that post. I just remember having this issue in the past, and you addressing with me.
