Pirelli on Asian Beauty

I chanced upon the 35th Edition of the Pirelli Calendar earlier this evening and was pleasantly surprised. A bit amused and generally impressed with the photography, actually, and I thought it best to share it with you beauties.

Location: Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai
Theme: Perle d’Oriente (taking a shot at a translation, “Pearl of the Orient”)
First photo is Miss January, next is Miss June and the third one is Miss December. The makeup is hardwork, I must say. You got to love how they’ve managed to capture and express Chinese-inspired looks, from the wardrobe to the makeup and hair ornaments. Very cool.
