Please Don’t Do This To Your Bridesmaids!

Did you all see the New York Times article at the end of the week last week about – well – the bridezilla’s from hell? I don’t know any nicer way to put it, really. Mercy, is really all I have to say. If its not bad enough that your bestest friend is making you buy an ugly, expensive dress that you will never wear again, apparently brides all over are demanding that their bridesmaids, mothers, mothers-in-law have botox. And matching spray tans. And boob jobs for crying out loud.
I thank my childhood best friend, Jill Watson, for having the most beautiful bridesmaid dress that I was able to cut off and had one amazing dress. And thank her for not caring that I was not perfect (but I did look good way back then…ha!). Man, do I wish I was still that skinny.
What do you guys think – is this acceptable??? Please tell me it is not.

Oh my! That’s insane.
I had my bridesmaids pick out their own dresses, I just told them I wanted a sapphire blue, which was a color that they all looked good in thankfully. My wedding dress skirt was a matching sapphire blue and my corset top was beaded with swarovsky crystals on an ivory top. We actually looked great together.
I would have never told them to tan, get fake boobs, or anything! Hell, they didn’t even have to wear makeup! One of the girls asked me to put makeup on her because she didn’t know how to wear it but wanted to try. It was a lot of fun.
No way. Some brides go wayyy to overboard.
