We are getting to the point where I always start getting super into Project Runway – I am starting to care about these folks and the major flakes are gone. But I can’t really say that, I was VERY sad to see Chris gone last week – I thought he was a very good designer and pretty good television too. And well our Dallas boy, Marion – I wasn’t happy to see him go either, thats for sure. Well I guess I am just starting to care about these folks, and that always makes good reality television, no?
So Jack is ill and everyone is crying – tick tock – whats the story? He is a doll, I hope he isn’t too sick.

Ok, so OMG – I just did a little poking around the internet, and Ill be damned if he doesn’t have…
(this is a spoiler, so I’ll talk more about this after the jump)
MRSA. Unbelievable. Unbelievable how this is touching our lives everywhere we turn. I haven’t rattled on too much about it lately, but my hubby had an MRSA infection in his spinal column 3 years ago, and was on life support for 2 weeks, and in the hospital for a month. Thank God he is doing wonderfully today. And we know from the gossip rags that Jack is doing well too – or sure appears to be having the time of his life – so big hugs to him. Lord only knows what he has been through. I would suspect that he will be leaving the show tonight, with his HIV+ status, and the potential that MRSA has to absolutely bring you down, there is no way he could continue with the stress that competition must put on your body. I sure hope he leaves anyway. And darn it, I just about had him to win. Poor guy.
If you need resources on MRSA, we run (with a great deal of help of a few AMAZING people) a wonderful forum at http://forum.mrsaresources.com, as well as a good many other things to read and pour over at http://www.mrsaresources.com, and my hubbys full story is at http://www.mrsastory.com. Keep your immune system in good health, and wash your hands obsessive/compulsively, for goodness sake. Basic hygiene and a strong body has never been so important as it is these days.
Ok so I am too surprised to go on about PR anymore, but by George, I will be watching – now 45 min and counting! Enjoy!

Wow! That’s crazy. I wash my hands so much it is crazy and it saddens me that the spread of MRSA can be so dramatically reduced with minimal effort, good hygiene and respect for others, yet people seem offended by the topic.
WASH YOUR HANDS, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for this story and the resources
Ok, this show is too much, I must comment as I watch. How much more can I possibly relate to this show? Women with dramatic weight loss, MRSA? And gosh darn it – Chris is back! Bless his heart – I hope he doesn’t make this lady a sailor costume.
Jeanne – amen sister. Such scary stuff. I hope they will give us an update on Jack as the show goes on. I know he is well now, and I hope his infection responded right away
Oh and Tim – I have made my fair share of bad mistakes at 3am too – never a good time to decide ANYTHING.
No no no Chris.
Chris might be safe. Dallas might have bit the big one with this.
Kevin – kicked ass!
Poor Steve – he got trapped by the rules of the challenge – there is no such thing as an everyday wedding dress. But at least he should have probably gone less frump.
Ah – well, Chris certainly did a great job – I was sure hoping for Kevin to get this one though.
Aww bye bye to Steve – he was a doll. Dallas is saved by the hair of her chinny-chin-chin.
Did you see Jack’s You Tube video?

you and I need to get on Skype while this show is on. I love it. I was rooting for Jack too. ahhh. when he won the Men’s wear episode I was telling Scott, “there’s nothing better than watching a gay designer with muscles”. Hehehehe. LOVE IT!
