Project Runway Weeks 4 and 5 Jabber

With all my travelling, I have really missed chatting about Project Runway. You know I planned my travels so I wouldn’t miss it either week. Last week, I spent the night in Nashville with my brother, because my mother, 3 hrs away in Knoxville only has 13 little channels. And no computer – how does she live??? Ha ha! And this week, I made DARNED sure I was home by Project Runway time last night – it is my only TV weakness, what can I say?
Anyhoo – Last week I was a little disappointed, but in the interest of great honesty, I like Angela being a difficult designer – her cooperation was – as Nina Garcia would say – boring. But they did a fabulous job, truly. I loved seeing Keith go – and was nice and surprised after hearing rumors that he had copied his sketches at the beginning of the audition process and that was going to be the reason he left. And I hate seeing Robert as one of the last two designers – he has better work in him – doesn’t he? And I guess they think so too.
So this week:

Michael, as he always does, did an outstanding job on this one. I really don’t know a whole lot about Pam Grier, but she was unmistakably present in Michael’s design. Great job! And what the heck was with the Bradley/Cher concoction? I guess not much, eh? If you aren’t going to watch celebrities, you had better have quite the knack for design. Again, Robert was left at the end. I hope he will get it together, but I don’t know if he is going to be able to compete for much longer – there are some really good designers and sewers on this show – with just beautiful finishing on their garments that I haven’t seen so much of in past Project Runways. Not consistantly anyway. I am not sure yet how I think this is going to turn out. What do you think? Kayne? Michael? Laura? I just don’t know yet.
My birthday is in 2 weeks – I am seriously thinking about asking for a dress form. But who has time to sew? *sigh*

I also miss my sewing days when I watch that show.
My pic for the last 3 are Michael, Uli, and Kayne.
Oh, and something scary about Angel and those granny flowers of hers. I just got the Accessories magazine trend forcast issue, and yikes, they had some stuff about 3 deminsional flowers being popular in spring/summer 2007!
I always forget about Uli – she is so quiet – but you very well may be right there, Tammy. I can’t imagine what Laura will do to get out though, maybe just bore them to death.
What a great site. I like it very much. More content of beauty product would be appreciated.
I love that outfit! And I love Michael!
