Project Runway

Daniel's beautiful evening gown

I am so in love with this show – I really don’t know what it is. I think maybe it inspires my DIY self. I hate to talk about it the day after, because it will ruin it for anyone who didn’t see it but was planning to watch one of the 100+ reruns this week, but I am going to, so ***Spoiler Alert!***

I think I am the only person on the planet who cannot stand Santino (sorry Gail…LOL). I still don’t understand why he didn’t go last week. He is such a pompous jerk. Daniel was respectfully calling him on it in a conversation last night, and all he could say is “Whatever,” and walk away. Ugh. In last night’s episode, just because they told him first to leave the runway and that he was in, he assumed that he won the darned thing. I’m sorry, but that was one heck of a hideous dress he produced. However, it had a lot of “life” in it that the others didn’t have, and I definitely don’t think he should have been eliminated (Chloe was lucky!). I truly will be sick if he wins the whole thing, he doesn’t deserve it and I hate to see people like him succeed. There, I said it.

LOL. You can talk about it all you want, no spoiler alert needed. (It’s not like your giving away a real mystery like say, “Lost”. :)

I watched Project Runway last night, too. I see what you mean about Santino being arrogant. I love the bad boys-even if they’re gay…lol. I think Daniel will win, though, because that big designer they went to see (Fern?) advised them that ‘being nice’ could not be underestimated. I like a lot of Chloe’s designs, but I think when we heard her confess that she didn’t really care about winning anymore, that might be a big clue to her losing. We’ll see.

I thought Santino’s spangly dress turned out much better than I thought it would. Chloe’s was pretty bad, especially in the back. I liked Daniel’s a lot…simple elegance.

  2. I thought Santino was doing MUCH better before he added those spangly things. Yuck. And I am soooo glad you are seeing his major attitude problem. I so hope he doesn’t win. I agree about Daniel, he should have it made in the shade, I thought his dress was gorgeous, but I am much more that style – elegant and simple, but sexy and NOT ridiculously spangled!!!
