Thanks for posting this when many others didn’t. I have looked up to Anita Roddick since high school and though I was disappointed by the sale to L’Oreal, it couldn’t tarnish my opinion of her. She cared about the environment and the worldwide community and promoted those ideals before it was common to do so. She was a pioneer and will be missed.

It’s so sad that she’s passed away! I’m a devoted Body Shop fan – I hope the company will keep on going with the same spirit that Anita brought to it.

Would you believe that Anita lived one street away from me in England when I was a wee lass? I am very sad to hear that she passed away
