Filipinos were fed (and still are, by the media) that mentality "white/fair skin is beautiful" hence forgetting that it (skin tone) doesn't really matter. Hehe. I've met a lot of Caucasians (both Americans and Europeans) who'd notice my "gorgeous" skin tone. It did wonders to my ego. LOL. Thanks, Dexie! :D Yea, I hear and see that all the time.
