I could not wait to try this as I LOVE a good peel off mask, and have since I was a teenager. I did not love this. I do not have sensitive skin, but this left red welts on my face, and I really slathered it on, so it was not that it was too thin. (I had read about that being a problem.) Not to mention, if you have ANY fine hairs on your face at all, the pain is unbelievable when you peel this off.

It's quite cheap in Japan. My skin is clearer after the mask but it doesn't do much for pimples. I love pulling the dried mask :D

Glad u like it Christina! And it absorbs oil really well! I can see the "shiny spots" of oil when I peel off my mask.

I just got mine the other day, Liz - and totally agree with you. You must use it thickly, and leave it on a little longer than the 20 minutes it advises. I was a little concerned about the pain factor, but it wasn't bad at all. It is sooooooo nifty though, I love it!

I'm into my first tube of Seikisho Mask White and love it. My skin glows as it does after a facial (which for me on a budget is a splurge). I agree that it's very deep cleaning and smoothing. I also agree that it can be a little painful to pull off. When applying the mask, steer clear of your hairline and sideburns. It pulls at the little delicate facial hairs, which hurts. Definitely leave it on for about 30 minutes and use a thick layer. If you use too little, you don't get the same deep exfoliating effect when you peel.

Gracie - thanks SO much for your comment - I am super glad to hear how much you love it! And I wondered about the pain factor a little, but if it does as good a job cleansing pores as you, and others, have said - it will be WELL worth it! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!

I did the same thing too, Claire - posted, then purchased immediately. I have been hearing LOTS of buzz about it, all of a sudden. I can't WAIT til it gets here!

I'm into my 3rd tube of this. I have combination skin type and live in a tropical country. This is my holy grail deep cleansing mask! :) This really get rids of blackheads-big or even the tiniest! The "whitening" here actually works by evening out your skin tone and getting rid of dead skin. I think it would be better marketed as a deep cleansing mask.

Lotsa people have actually complained that this peels of painfuly but I find that the trick is to let it dry fully-like leaving it on for about 30 min instead of the 20 min suggested on the bottle; in that way, the peeling off will not be so painful.

Also you can get a kick of seeing your blackheads and patches of dead skin on the mask once you tear it off. However, pls take note that you must put sufficiently enough to properly cover the pores. Pores moust not be peeking out when you've already it-else it not enough.

I feel that dry skin type is not suitable to use this mask as it might be too dry. Very good for oily or combi skin type.

That's just my experience for this product. Hope that helps! :)
