Shiseido
The Makeup Silky Eye Shadow Quad

This ultra-smooth eyeshadow quartet creates vibrant yet shimmery, translucent colors. One compact provides versatile color combinations to create a whole eye look. Use as highlighter, liner, and shadow. Easy to apply and blends well. Long-lasting, stay-true colors.

While putting on makeup early this morning, I realised how limited my eye shadow selections are. This got me thinking what sort of colours I needed or often used so I can decide on what to shop for next. Of course, being the internet person that I am, I decided to browse online. There’s a choice between getting them in separate pots or go for quads or palettes. But quads are more awesomely practical, don’t you agree?

So off I go to check out some quads.

One that made it on my list is The Makeup Silky Eye Shadow Quad from Shiseido. Last time I bought a quad was the MAC fafi I bought a few months back. Not that I don’t love this one anymore, it’s just like I said, I needed more variety and the quad from Shiseido offers that.

The quad is actually available in several variations: Q1 Dusk To Dawn, Q2 Earth And Sky, Q3 Flora And Fauna, Q9 Lunar Phases, and Q10 Desert Winds. I actually am having a hard time choosing which one I like best, hell, I’m even having problems picking out the best two of the the choices. Gawd. I love them all! But if I were to really be forced to narrow down my choices, I’ll go for Q3 and Q1 for top 2 personal picks (then Q10 and Q9, hehe).

The Makeup Silky Eye Shadow Quad currently costs $35 over at Sephora.

I’ll probably drop by the nearest Shiseido counter next time I’m in the mall to check them out in person. Meanwhile, I’d like to throw out these questions: have any of you tried this e/s out? I’d love to hear some feedback on it. Is it flaky, powder-y? How about its staying power? I reckon I will get answers to all my questions when I do get to try it out but I still welcome your thoughts!

Hi Sasha, I am currently sporting a long hair. But at times, I would love to have a bit of curl on it as I get to be bored at times. I have sported a very short do in highschool and college, now , I’ve been sporting a long hair eversince, at times, I felt so tempted to just cut it..but what’s stopping me is knowing that I’ve spent quite a lot with treatment..I just want to enjoy it while I can..imagine if I get to be 40 or 50??? I would love to have a short do by then lol
