Shu Uemura will be missed

I was just getting myself acquainted with the Asian brand Shu Uemura for the past few months, actively that is and then I find out that the genius behind it passed away last month due to Pneumonia at age 79. I was taken by surprise.
It was sad, sad news for the beauty community.
Shu Uemura has developed a strong following for his makeup and skincare collections around the world. The brand is known to offer a world of premium quality, innovation and design in all their products.
Renowned as a true pioneer, Shu Uemura was the first to merge makeup and art via makeup performances on stage and his seasonal Mode Makeup collections, which, to this day, he continues to inspire and awe twice a year.
With masterful makeup artistry as his background, shu uemura cosmetics are developed based on elements from art, nature and technology. From the unique presentation of his eye shadows, the makeup removal efficacy of his cleansing oil, to the meticulous range of his handmade makeup brushes, each product has been formulated and designed to perfection.
Thankful for the glorious legacy he leaves behind. Shu Uemura will be missed.
