Have you spotted Sunsilk products at your local store yet? On recommendation from a friend, I picked up a couple of their conditioners last month. They have several different formulas for all kinds of hair issues - Anti-Flat, Anti-Poof, Hydra TLC, Straighten Up, De-Frizz, Normal and Therma shine. It took me a bit to decide what to try, as I could have probably used about 3 different ones. Each category has a shampoo, daily conditioner and what I think is a leave in moisturizing cream - the one I chose to try, the Hydra TLC, also has a masque, which is a more intensive moisturizing conditioner. I do have to say that their website is horrid to navigate, really slow and way too Flash-y, but the products are good, and very inexpensive. I probably won’t repurchase the masque, as I don’t think it does anything any better than their daily conditioner, but for the price, the conditioner is pretty darn good and it smells good too.

sunsilk-color-boostThey have just come out with Color Boost products for Blondes and Brunettes - those are next on my list to try. They have shampoos and conditioners for both colors, plus a brightener. I love these kinds of products, generally speaking, they really do enhance especially an older color job that has gone a little dull. I suspect these will be good, I will let you know what I really think after I have it in my hot little hands. :) Have you tried it yet?

I`m always on the lookout for something to make my hair look fuller so I purchased the Anti Flat volumizing creme. It`s just okay.It doesn`t leave a sticky feel to my hair.
I`ve also gotten several samples in the mail. My favorite by far is the Hydra TLC creme.I put a very little bit on the ends of my hair and it instantly moisturizes.I will be getting the full size of this one.
I agree with you about the website.
    Less flash please!!
However, they are good and fast at sending out the samples.

The whole package and logo remind me of these products that we have in South America, named “Sedal”. They feature sets of products for each hair color: blonde, brunette, raven and red. Very interesting.

I’ve been using their Anti-Flat one and the conditioner. I like ‘em. And i’m glad they’re very affordable.

A while back I got an email from one of my readers asking me what I thought of the Hairapy guys. A website where these two guys yuk it up with some crude blonde jokes while trying to sell us a bunch of beauty products. I didn’t think much of the site and didn’t mention it at the time. But then Christina Jones at E-Beauty Daily a few days ago wrote a review of some of the Hairapy Sunsilk Moisturizing products. She had some good things to say, give it a read . . . she includes a link to the Hairapy guys if you’re looking for a little crude humor you can check these guys out.

I have been using thier straighten up and love it! However, the Walmart I usually go to has stopped carrying it. I have looked everywhere for it; K-mart, Target, etc. I can’t find it anywhere. I am wondering why they are not selling it anymore.

Sunsilk is marketed as sedal in some latin countries - it looks like color vital might be similar to what you are looking for:

For 76 years I have constantly struggled with my flat, straight hair. Now I am completely white with flat, straight and dry hair. I have never written to a company before to thank them for their products, so this is a first. Thanks to your Sunsilk Anti-Flat and volume line,my hair looks the best of any time in my life. I also love your “Hold Me Forever” hair spray. After pumping up my straight hair, the spray holds it in place and my hair still feels soft. I have told all of my friends about your products and they love them too! Thanks!! For years I have used Sebastian products and they are not nearly as good as your Sunsilk line…..and much more expensive!!!
