  We need a new name for our channel - Beauty & Style is sounding rather dull these days.  Good thing we have one on the horizon, eh?

In my delirium last week, I completely forgot to give some love to Shannon, and MakeupMinute, our newest blog here in the Beauty & Style Channel at b5media! You have probably seen Shannon before - I reference her other blog, A Girl’s Gotta Spa pretty often. Shannon will be writing about all things cosmetics, so if you are a makeup junkie, be sure to bookmark her, or put her in your Bloglines, or do whatever you need to do to not miss any of her daily posts. She is a hoot, and is sure to bring some more fun to an already fun topic! Welcome Shannon, we are so glad to have you!!

I just wanted to point out that I am Keeping The Castle while Maricar is off playing with her newborn son for a couple of months (congrats again, Maricar!). It is a hair lonely over there for me, so please come by and visit!! I would love to hear what you have to say about this: Women Prefer Housekeeping to Sex. I was a little disgusted, and I certainly disagreed with their poll results. Really, you should always visit over there, Maricar is a great writer and a much better domestic goddess than I am. But I do make an effort (Mom, stop rolling your eyes!!), so I will share them with you for my brief stint.

Today we launch the first of two up and coming blogs in the Women’s channel, ShopaholicsDaily, written by SP Bragg, of AgingFabulous, and her daughter, Brittany, a new blogger here at b5media.
