Bare Escentuals Hydrating Mineral Veil

Never more than a few days will go by without me waxing poetic about Bare Escentuals.
Today, I’m all about Hydrating Mineral Veil, which is no surprise since there’s never been a Mineral Veil I didn’t love.
I think just about all of you reading this are beauty-savvy enough to know what this product is, but essentially, it is water based and 100% pure minerals (bareMinerals coveted formula) and somehow hydrates my skin, evens it out, finishes it, and makes it glow. I don’t know how it does all that, but I swear, as God as my witness, it DOES.
To use, …read more

A Wink and a Kiss

I love minis.
However, I do not mean of the skirt variety – I am pushing my third decade after all – but I love mini sizes of my fave cosmetics.
My latest find is Bare Escentuals A Wink & A Kiss Buxom Lip & Lash Duo–in it, you’ll find their fabulous lip polish as well as a mini mascara, both of the Buxom variety.
I’m a huge fan of the Buxom Lip Polish immediately – it’s super shiny, but it also is loaded with antioxidants. So it’s sort of like taking our vitamins! The lash booster is very much the same concept …read more

bareMinerals Happiness Collection

I love, love, love Bare Escentuals, and each time there’s a new product from them, I’m all over it.
The latest collection that I am playing around with is their bareMinerals Happiness Collection, a nine-piece set that features a set of products that are infused with something called Happybelle–a complex that (get this!!!), contains a plant extract believed to mimic the effect of endorphins and create a sense of happiness.
Take a second to ponder how amazing that is. Pretty and happy. What else could I possibly want?
I know, I know, it sounds ever-so-slightly flower child like, but it’s actually natural-it IS …read more

Huge Sephora Sale

Ladies, ladies, ladies, happy Labor Day weekend!
If you are all partied out, and ready for some serious shopping, Sephora is my favorite place to start. If I wasn’t excited enough about free shipping, free samples, and free returns, tons of stuff at up to 75 off was enough to get my blood all a-boil.
Some fun choices: The Juicy Loves Sephora Bowler lip gloss charm (original price was $58, now it’s $29)! And you know that fabulous LORAC Summer of Style Makeup Collection? It’s normally $100….but is now $32!
Also, if you buy the Michael Kors 1.7 or 3.4 oz EDP Spray …read more

Try Bare Escentuals Radiance Rocks for $29!

One of my favorite brands is Bare Escentuals, and one of my favorite stores is Sephora.
It’s rare to see a coupon from either, but right now you can score the new BE Radiance Rocks – which is ONLY available at Sephora – for $29 (usually $35).
To take advantage, use coupon code BEROCKS at checkout.
Radiance Rocks is sort of adorable. It’s three rocks that are compressed together solely by water. To use them, you  swirl the Kabuki Brush on top of rocks, and buff the shades on your eyes, cheeks, and body, or wherever you wish! It’s a fabulous multi-tasker, and …read more

Bare Escentuals Hydrating Mineral Veil

If you’ve read eBeautyDaily, like, ever, you are probably already well aware that I am a fan of Bare Escentuals.
Actually, to call me a fan would be like to say that Elvis sort of liked peanut butter. I am obsessed – and the new water-based Hydrating Mineral Veil has not faltered my love at all.
This new take on mineral veil is great for thirsty skin and has a cooling effect, it also helps brighten skin – but in a non-obvious not-shimmery sort of way, which helps to create a smooth finishing touch.
My advice: Best way to use this is …read more

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Refill Brush

If you travel as much as I do, you need cosmetics (and accessories) that are travel-friendly.
A great new option for me is the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals refillable brush.
It’s refillable with any bareMinerals mineral product, and super-great on-the-go.
My big fear before using it was that it would be like those blush-in-a-brush powders I’ve tried in the past, and leak all over everything.
It was totally not the case though! It worked great: Just turn to raise the tapered brush. Or make a second turn lets you control the product flow for an even application; it really does have super control.
I heart …read more

Bare Escentuals Free to Be Natural

The trend this spring is toward the bright and bold – but that is a look that doesn’t apply to all situations.
Generally, it’s not a good idea to wear turquoise shadow to, say, a job interview…
Bare Escentuals Free To BE: Naturally Classic is perfect for these “neutral” situations – it’s a collection of natural shades for eyes, cheeks, and lips.
Trends come and go, but these neutral shades are actually the best of investments because they defy season, and are actually flattering and timeless. They also are incredibly versatile and tailor to any look.
The shades in this set include: Papaya Blush …read more
